When we travel, we love to find something different. This definitely fits. The setting is a charming historic building in downtown Forsyth. The service was very attentive without being too much. I had spring rolls with shrimp. They are hand wrapped and just absolutely delicious. The flavor was outstanding. They were crisp and a little spicy but not overwhelming. They were not heavy or overly “breaded”. The wraps were delicate and crunchy. My husband had the duck pizza and loved it. No, it is not a Restaurant for kids. I read that complaint elsewhere. That is why we chose it. This is grown up food. The restaurant is quiet and yes, definitely adult fare. A light lunch for two was $24 before the tip.

Only one dairy queen in forsyth ga. Easy to find.
We come to Forsyth every year for training at the Georgia Public Safety Center and we always look forward to our visit to the Dairy Queen. This DQ is always very clean and no matter how slammed out busy they are you never have a long wait for your food. The food always tastes great! Every year the staff is always very polite and go that extra mile to ensure you enjoy your order.. thank you!!

The chips and salsa was good, delivered immediately, and plentiful. The combination plate (taco, refried beans, cheese enchilada) tasted like a frozen dinner and was skimpy. The margarita was small, watered down and disappointing. The food was not terrible, service good, restaurant clean. There are probably better options.

I had the pepperoni pizza rolls based on suggestion of the staff. They were ok, but nothing phenomenal and I like more toppings to bread ratio... these are more bread (but bread is good, if that’s what you like).
Staff was friendly, but overall the restaurant was average, nothing amazing.

Upon recommendation from a friend my hubby and I drove 35 minutes to have brunch.
Pros
Very cute- you walk in to the mercantile section with all types of things for sell. Then you order at the bakery counter before sitting down.
Really good grits. Super course ground and tasty.
Great coffee
Yummy biscuits and bacon.
Good hot chocolate
Very good quality food
Cons
To get water you are charged $.70 a glass
Although I ordered a breakfast platter, bread/biscuit didn’t come on it. I was charged more.
Once you sit down you basically take care
of your self if you need something. No waitstaff that we ever saw. Paper/plastic plates and utensils.
Overall pricey for a small town cafe. I can picture this restaurant in an art district in Decatur.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and their reservation clerk recommended Shoney's. It was a Friday night and they had a wonderful seafood buffet. Besides the fried and peel-and-eat shrimp, they had fried muscles and frogs legs, two kings of chowder, fried chicken, salad with all the fixings, and an assortment of fresh fruit, and lots more all for around $12. The food was hot and service was excellent. Also, if you stay at the Country Inn and Suites, you get a 10% discount!

Configured like a diner, adjacent to a gas station. They advertise as "fast food," but our food was made to order. So, it took a minute, but was good. There is no show to accommodate the "hibachi" dishes, but it's not bad for the price. I'll definitely return & will try the cheesesteaks. I'm told that they're very good. The appetizers were also a very good deal. If you can give it about 10 minutes to have your meal prepared (while you, say, refuel your car or use the bathroom), it's worth doing. Not gourmet, but definitely good.

We, four women, arrived near closing time and were the last to leave. We had shrimp, fried chicken, and catfish (with bones) meals.
The food was GREAT!
From the outside it looks like hole in the wall type place. Very clean and fantastic waitress.
I would go out of the way to eat at this place when I travel near there.

I was so blown away by this little hole in the wall. It is attached to a gas station and I was not expecting much. The food is delicious and completely authentic. I had tacos and they were amazing - the prices are unbeatable. I will be a loyal customer from now on. No thank you taco bell! Much gracias La Pasadita.
