Firstly I want to say what a lovely hotel this is, the staff are lovely and the rooms are very cosy and comfortable. I have no problem with the hotel so it’s a shame I have to put such a low score but I am hoping that Love Holidays will take notice. However- this holiday was miss sold to us and the information love holidays provided us is simply not true. I booked this hotel as our holiday is based around going to Disneyland Paris for the days we are here. Love Holidays states we are in ‘Disney land Paris resort’. We are not. We are 20 miles away and it costs €65 in a taxi ONE WAY. For two days, there and back, it’s €260 in taxi fairs. If your like us, a working class family who have spent months and months saving for this trip- €260 is nearly all of our spending money! There are no busses (even though it says there’s a shuttle bus) and no Uber’s- so taxi is the only way to get to Disneyland. We are not the only ones this has happened to, there is another family in the hotel who has also been given this wrong information by another travel agency. So, after finding out we are not on resort, we try to enjoy our trip. On leaving our first day in Disney, we have to wait an hour and a half for a taxi in the freezing cold. Which was not fun with a disabled mother who cannot stand for long and a three year old. Which yes I know, this part isn’t Love Holidays fault. But, we were on the assumption we were staying on the resort and we wouldn’t have put ourself in this situation. To top the day off, Love Holidays advertises the hotel to provide an evening meal of ‘French Cuisine’ which was our plan for dinner (when we finally got back). The kitchen was closed between the dates of 20th Dec- 5th Jan. With the supermarket shut, I’m left with a hungry three year old until the morning. I’m absolutely devastated this has happened, we are considering not going to Disneyland for our second day regardless of our pre paid tickets as we simply have not got enough money to spend €130 again in taxis. I will be fighting Love Holidays for a full refund as in my eyes, they have ruined our holiday. Thank you to the Hotel reception staff that have been so welcoming and sympathised with our situation.

The hotel was booked and paid for in January 2015. When my family and I arrived at the hotel, we were advised that there was a tax to pay which we were unaware of. The tax of 5 cents had to be taken from my card which I had, but the payment would not be taken from the card due to the small amount of the payment! I phoned the Head Office and spoke with a very helpful person called John Paul who explained that the tax was initiated in July by the french Government. He then put me in touch with a helpful person called Corrina who helped with this issue and we were checked in. We also found out that the booking reference had changed (without any my being notified), which compounded the situation, hence when I had attempted to carry out a fast check in online the night before the reference number was different so had failed. Unfortunately this process took over an hour, which meant that I was late to an important event. When in the hotel room, the cold water did not work, and there was a cigarette burn in one of the sheets. The process of check in was not a pleasant one.
