Good place for romantic "rendez-vous", family reunions and of course meals and business Meetings. Sit back confortably in an armchair and let yourself be a very refined taste journey. The chef, Pierre Henri Morel, invites you to discover all the delicacy of french cuisine seasoned with a touch of asian spices. Let advise you by our room'team for an unforgetable moment .
For the last 8 years my wife and I had the pleasure of tasting the creative cuisine of Chef Jean Chauvel several times. Whenever in Paris, we had to make Reservations @ Les Magnolias.
Unfortunately, Mr. Chauvel and his wife are no longer the owners of Les Magnolias.
I tried the new chef's menu in October and, of course, there is no comparison to what Les Magnolias once offered.
The servers are still the same, and so is side of mashed potatoes. However, there is no creativity in the new menu.
As the appetizer, I ordered the vegetable tempura and it was overly greasy! The main course was a very tiny piece of lamb and the dessert was okay.
The fixed price menu is still $59.00 euros, but it is simply not worth going from Paris all the way to Les Perreux sur Marne.

Was recommended by friends and decided to try it for a quick lunch. We went for the menu for 16.50 including main dish and dessert. I chose the fish of the day who was very tasty but the rice with it was over cooked. The veg were fresh and tasty too. We had for dessert the charlotte au chocolat which was a big mistake: not nice presentation, to heavy, we expected something much more with a home made charlotte style and taste. Only 3 desserts were on the menu so was obvious for us to pick the charlotte.
At lunch time you expect to be looked after very quickly which was not the case. The restaurant was quickly full. I guess after 12.45 it's necessary to book. We didn't.

Anyone owning Stephane Renaud's excellent book "Ripailles" would expect authentic French Lyonnaise cooking of a high standard; in the event the menu and its preparation was average to say the least; as was the inattentive service. The wine list, though interesting in its variety and quality, seemed overpriced by comparison to other restaurants in the price range. Ali in all, the experience was of a house with an inflated idea of of its own importance; M Renaud was not in the house on the night we dined there.

Reservation here is essential. This is a tiny restaurant, clearly always full. You are welcomed on arrival and the service throughout is attentive and when necessary informative. The menu contains lots of fish and seafood, though there's enough to keep the meat eaters interested. Everything we had was delicious, but the best was the langoustines.

Business lunch for a customer and I consisted of 2 menus at noon, one for 22E and the other for 24E. This cuisine was very refined and good, the portions were small and refined like nouvelle cuisine. The young restaurant manager is very likeable and helpful. His chef is outstanding. This is better than paying a lot of money in central Paris for a dissapointing restaurant. Very good, try it.
Aa racommander, merci.

Le Nogentais was very pleasant and the food was a good standard brasserie selection. It was not a place I would go for a special evening, but it was certainly commendable. The server was very pleasant, and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

Cuisine Tendance Et World Food
Don't expect "grande cuisine" but the simplicity, youth and creativity in the cuisine and the service all at a decent price makes it a place where you could come back again. That's a good option to go to in Vincennes, which is full of boring low-quality tradi/pizza/sushi restaurants and is appallingly poor in decent creative restaurants. So that's a 4 or even a 5 if you look through the Vincennes' prism
