Unfriendly reception
Reviewed By ktsixchRarely had such an unfriendly reception. We arrived in the pouring rain and received no help whatsoever with our luggage. When we asked if they could exchange Swiss francs for euros they said could not be done. When my room key did not work I had to go back twice and did not even get an apology and when I opened a juice from the mini bar and tasted that it was expired I also did not get an apology when I returned it to the front desk, just an “ah okay”. The rest of the stay was ok but the reception staff brought the level of service down.

Reviewed By Dreamer732263Very impressed with the hotel and the room. Staff all helpful and friendly. We had the half board option and the food was good. Great place to start some hikes from. Lots of children about so if you have a problem with noise at mealtimes this might not be your best choice.

The location of the hotel is very central in Folgaria. The personal is very friendly, and the food was very good. The rooms are very cosy and clean. Also they have an amazing Welness Center. Another thing that impressed me wast the pet friendly politic, which is a very important thing for me.

Wonderful Hotel
Reviewed By drtprees2018We had probably the nicest suite and so were rather spoilt - the hotel is situated in a small town which is not touristy and the restaurant has an amazing small terrace where you have both breakfast and dinner We found the service excellent and everyone smiles - the food at dinner was really good and we really could not fault it - we did not want to leave The prices also were reasonable and the order was always correct The area was also very interesting but you need a car The only thing that was not quite right was the eggs at breakfast - they were fried and left in a hot container but then developed a hard skin over the top - this did surprise me as all the other food was fantastic - this could easily be sorted - the staff were also all so helpful especially Sylvia and Elena the 2 sisters who own the hotel and of course the wonderful Michaela in reception who was so very helpful Thank you to you all Dr Trevor P Rees

Hotel Vittoria is a family-run hotel located in the centre of Folgaria. Really close to the the main shopping street, 5 minutes far from the ski slopes or mountain paths, 3 minutes from the sports center and the covered ice-skating rink, the position is one of the strength points of this hotel. It offers three types of rooms standard, comfort and mini-suites all well furnished with parquet floor and with different kind of mountain wood. The new wellness center is the plus of this structure, people can relax after a sporting day while children can join the mini-club activities... And this is not all! Cosy and familiar atmosphere is the welcome that the Toller's family want give to their customers, come and try it!

(Cyclist International Union) has proved a plus value to all the beauty spread around the village (fantastic and so well looked after!) thanks to the kindness and attention of all the Staff! A special thank-you to the Chef who every evening has delighted us and for breakfast has tempted us with all delicatessen, lovely home-made cakes and all the goodies, in order to give us the necessary strength to climb the steep passes!

Great Hotel - brilliant locality to ski
Reviewed By evansj1966We have just returned (family of 5) from 10 days in Folgaria staying at the Villa Wilma. It's our third time and it was truly great - we had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is Tyrolean & lovely. It is on the sunniest side of the valley & front / side facing rooms look over to mountains (I loved just standing & looking at them). The owners Carlo, Nadia, Max & Sara really can't do enough to help - really friendly, lovely people. It's good to know a little Italian & theirs is pretty good (as well as German I think). It was both my wifes and my birthday & they gave us a cake & a bottle of wine (plus a rendition of 'happy birthday' in Italian). They pay a lot of attention to detail in what they do & how the hotel is - it really shows & just makes everything more pleasurable. Food is excellent & plentiful - buffet breakfast with tons of choice & a four course dinner. All of it was really healthy too - well maybe not the doughnuts - but it is a holiday! For adults there is a really good spa area - we didnt use it but it looks great. WiFi is reasonable. No Tv in English but we didnt go to the Dolomites to watch telly anyway & phones, laptops & tablets sufficed. The area is Trentino so if you like wine you will be spoilt - all of the wines are from the area & were priced well & excellent. If as we did you want to ski they will sort passes & hire with you. Skiing is great for beginners & intermediates with plenty of blues, reds (manageable) & just a very few blacks. We were there in half term but it isnt the same in Italy so there was plenty of space during the week with it being busier (though never daft) at weekends when people come up out of Verona. Folgaria is only about 1hr 15 from Verona airport & the village itself is very pretty - helped by the lovely blue skies we had most of the time. We flew in budget style with Easyjet & then got a transfer up to the village. All the prices are very reasonable, everyone is really nice & looking in the round - with the excellent hotel, location, food, skiing & costs I struggle to see how to beat it. We certainly hope to go again and thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent accommodation
Reviewed By TazJimLovely place to stay. We had 2 big rooms. one with a big balcony and the other with a patio area with loungers. Right next to the costa ski lift and the ski bus to the area. So convenient. Spotless room. Loved the outdoor hot tub attached to the swimming pool. Fab coffee and continental breakfast served by lovely staff. All staff very helpful.

Not even close to 4 stars hotel
Reviewed By Silvije ŠThe hotel does not offer value for the money. It is really an average and it is not 4 stars hotel. The location is great, just across the ski lifts, ski tickets cashier and ski school office. First day they were late with the check in for one hour and the room was wet with intensive smell like chlorine. The room was big and clean but with broken fence on the upper flour. The beds were hard, exactly how I like it, but you need three pillow to get minimum support for the neck. We had a kitchen, but without any dishes or glasses. Wi-Fi is a disaster because it works only near the reception and the real data traffic you can experience after midnight. Most of the staff are reserved, except few nice people. Ski room is dirty, stinky and ruined. You can not dry the boots there. Garage is really big and empty. The hotel needs extensive maintenance and renovation in the near future. Concerning food, you will not be hungry but it is disappointment. Poor breakfast and some diner meal were distasteful. One evening they missed to serve one course of the meal and instead offer extra desert. We have accepted and then they have brought desert twice, but each time half of the cake. Unbelievable. Most of the staff speaks only Italian. The tap water is great but you can not get it in the restaurant in spite of the fact that we have ordered bottles of wine, Coke, Sprite, Fanta every night. Of course, it is not allowed to bring the water from the room. One morning during the breakfast we had a fire in the restaurant because of toaster malfunction. So, this is basically 3* hotel which has to do a lot on the customer relationship field.

Abbiamo progettato l’albergo nel segno del comfort che un 4 stelle richiede, ma vogliamo conservare anche quel calore che ha sempre contraddistinto i nostri Hotel.
A fantastic time at the post hotel
Reviewed By S9442VHianrWe’ve been to a lot of great hotels around the world and this is one worth writing about. We finally managed to visit the Post Hotel after COVID ruined our plans 3 times. We went as a family of 4, with 2 children (6 &10) and we had the most fabulous time. We arrived on Boxing Day and stayed until NY day and filled 4 full days of skiing (which was excellent by the way) The team at the hotel run a very tight ship, the hotel was spotless at all times and the staff were all lovely nothing was too much trouble. The bar was cosy and the food in the restaurant memorable. It was a real home from home and we had a lot of laughs sat at the bar while the children opted for some well deserved downtime with iPads after a full days skiing. Lorraine and Mattia are worth a special mention, thanks both! We will return!
