Nicholas and Alison St.Clair would like to welcome you to Antebellum. We opened our doors in early 2012. Antebellum is located in the Historic District of Flowery Branch. Our menu consists of locally grown vegetables and humanely raised animals. We hope our guests experience hospitality and southern ingredients at their finest. Antebellum is a celebration of southern cuisine.
My husband took me there for my birthday. It is an old house but I did expect a little more decor. I thought the food was wonderful. My husband choose the Vidalia Onion Soup, the Caesar Salad, and Shrimp and Grits. He felt the soup was delicious but the Shrimp and Grits was superb. I had the Carrot Soup, the Butter Lettuce Salad and the Coriander and Ginger Pan Seared Wild Scallops. I loved every morsel. My husband had ordered a piece of dessert for me, which was devine. It was a warm chocolate chip cookie base with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My husband did not care for the coffee. Our waitress was very nice, knowledgeable, and extremely patient with my questions. We did not have any alcohol and our dinner came to approx $116. I expected it to be more. We have already made plans to return.

Love everything about this place aside from the wait time for food. Drinks and service are great, food is terrific. With such a small kitchen, be prepared to wait a bit longer than normal for your freshly-made order.

We visited the Crossroads on the basis of a recommendation from our friends who are locals. Wow, were they right! I am not kidding when I say they treated us like VIP's ! From our waitress to the owner visiting our table, and freshly grinding pepper on my salad herself, they made our family feel so special. On top of that the food was great! They are known for their Cuban sandwiches, we also tried the Philly cheesesteak and fish tacos. Everything was a hit! We can't wait to visit our friends again and visit this very special place ! We heard their steaks are amazing, so that's what we are trying next!

Good food a little overpriced. Mostly outside seating. Music was a little loud had to shout to people at table service not great order mixed up.

A take-out order was our choice this time. 1 pound of ribs, 1/2 pound brisket, 1/4 pound Turkey, 1 sausage, 1 small beans, 1 medium cole slaw, fed the two of us for 2 nights. Everything was delicious and the price right at $37 for all this food. Wonderful friendly staff which is always so nice. If coming off I-985, turn left just before the RR tracks at the BP station. Just a short distance down and on your left. Look for the sign in our photo below.

If one can slide past the slippery floor and not get killed getting to a table, you will find generous portions of meats on the offered platters.
Brisket is delicious (4/5), the pork decently good (3/5).
Sides were much more challenging.
Fried okra was overdone and the cornmeal breading excessive. 3/5
Brunswick stew was a great texture (chunky), but lacked flavor without me adding both more meat (some of the pork) and BBQ sauce. 4/5 with the added stuff
The coleslaw was delicious. 5/5
The collards were oddly flavored and the only dish all three of us agreed we disliked. 2/5
“Chili” (has beans in it, so not really chili) had a lot of meat but had far too much chili powder in it to be pleasant (tasted more like it should be a hot dog topping than stand alone “chili”). 2/5
Mac and cheese was very bland. 2/5
The optional sauces were varied and generally tasty.
Pricing is reasonable especially for the quantity provided (total ~$20 pp).

We were at a car show in Flowery Branch and stopped by Branch House for lunch. OMG the pulled pork was fantastic and various sauces gave it an extra kick. My wife had the wings and they were equally yummy. The service was fantastic and the beer ice cold. This is a definite must stop when in the area.

We ate at the Oakwood location during summer break last year and ordered spaghetti with meatballs that was bland and their bread and salad was pitiful. We decided to try the Flowery Branch location this past weekend and it was no better. The hispanic cashier was not friendly or welcoming. Their salad is a joke, a small saucer with several cuts of romaine with some black olives on it was disappointing. The bread was the worse I've ever had anywhere. I ordered the baked ziti and the sauce was ok but the cheese tasted weird like fake. I brought it home to my dog. If you want italian Mellow Mushroom is the way to go and its similar prices as this place. $12.50 for ziti that I fed my dog for example. Will not return to Napoli's ever again. $35 wasted and we dont eat out alot because of our budget.
