Went to Seaside Inn after a day of charter fishing. The Captain recommended we go there to have our grouper cooked. They cooked one filet blackened and the other fried. Served with a side of fries and coleslaw for$8.50. Cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back.

Meeting friends for lunch we needed a place half way and this looked like a good spot. Very happy we came here. The Cuban sandwich was huge and tasty. The Cod sandwich had a nice light coating and large too. Their Greek salad with chicken was a good size also. Our server was great and offered great suggestions. We will be back.

I can understand waiting, but the seating person was seating randomly. Our server was very nice , but appeared to be overworked. It took a while to get our food, the soup was just ok and our entreeâs were not as warm as they should have been. I can see why they were not rated closer to the top.

The food I really good however the success of a restaurant is in its employees. The female bartender with the knee brace was not very friendly but our server on the outside deck (Nikki) was great! If I was the owner I would pay closer attention to the attitudes of my staff... Nikki saved the day!

It is now called Shark Bites.Loved to go here before. Now itâs pretty bad. Sat for a long time, no waitress in sight. Finally went looking for somebody. Eventually someone took our order. Fish arrived over cooked and cold. Dinner came with two sides that did not arrive. Had to find waitress to tell her. Sides came after we finished our meal. Used to love going here and eating by the riverside, such a nice atmosphere. Sorry, but we wonât be going back.

Great find along the river, the exact type of place we like to frequent. The white wine sangria was very good and the summer mojito was very good. I had the grouper and my husband had the grouper/shrimp platter, all was very good. Service was great and the view was wonderful right on the river. Will definitely come back.

Looking up on Trip Advisor we decided on Catches, and what a catch! Absolutely delicious sea9in a bright, fishing themed restaurant. We had the blackened redfish, yummy. The new England chowder was delicious. Wait staff was very friendly, you felt that they were pleased you had come. We asked, and yes in season it is very busy. But in July it was easy to get in and a pleasant environment.

Having moved from the Tampa are in January, GD quickly became one of our favorite hangouts on the weekends or whenever we could think of an excuse to visit (45 times give or take). And while the service and bar staff are unfailingly excellent, the recent hike in menu prices was just too much to shrug off. Prices for many of the items we often enjoyed are now even higher than those in our tourist/resort-type areas such as Clearwater, St. Pete Beach and Tampa!Thankfully there are other options with better food and more reasonable prices within a short jaywalk of GD. So to GillDawg we say, âSit - Stay - Rollover - Play Dead!âWe're sorry you feel that way Cotee69. Actually our pricing is very much in line with the other establishments. We did our homework. We expected a little backlash with our MINOR price increases. I'm curious, you say you have enjoyed Gill Dawg on your previous 45 visits. Have you ever taken the time to write a good review?
