We visit the Red Lobster in Homestead, the service and foot was terrible, it took almost 30 minutes to get the soup and 30 minutes later we getting our main course, fish and chips, the fish was dry and chewy , I told the waitress and she told me that I have to tell her this, well we wouldn't like to wait another 30 minutes !Greetings, Jan Kornman
The host makes sure you are greeted with a welcoming smile. The owner/manager/chef is very friendly, the service is quick and polite and there are daily lunch specials, BUT the food will make you come back!!! By far the best Haitian food that I have had ever and my brother in law is Haitian. Conveniently located on U.S. 1 in Naranja section on Homestead. Simply authentic and delicious!!

This little out of the way restaurant has all the local flavor, the area itself is nice to walk before or after the meal. they have live entertainments and the most pleasant servers, the shef and owners wonder about making sure all are satisfied w the service, drinks and of course the meals.

Don't expect anything fancy (although there are pretty hanging Mexican star lights) because the atmosphere qualifies this place as a dive. However, the food is very good and reasonably priced. They start you off with a complimentary basket of tortilla chips with a fresh tomato and cilantro dip. I had the shrimp in salsa de mariscos which was more fishy than crustacean-y but it was still tasty. The flan is okay but it's pre-packaged and not homemade so I'd opt for the fried ice cream which is huge and easily shared.

On a drive, from Fort Lauderdale, I needed to eat. We saw the sign and went in. Initially disappointed as no alcohol was served. This was soon forgotten when we had the food. I had fried catfish and my husband had fish fingers, but not like we know them in the U.K. Really top class and worthy of any top restaurant who would charge twice as much. Good service, instant coca cola refill. We had to finish with key lime pie. I definitely overate. Out of the way but a good find. A little treasure.
