After driving by this place on a sunny day when exploring the area, we noticed this place and decided that we should give it a try. Their parking lot not not full, so we thought this would be a good choice for another day. unfortunately, the day that we decided to go was a rainy day, and apparently EVERYONE who had previously been at the beach decided to this bar on a rainy day, just as we did. Their outside area had no server because of the rain. The inside was obviously overwhelmed. The bartender could not keep up. They were constantly running out of glasses for their flights, which had to be washed before more could be served. Service was slow, but they handled it ok. The pretzel appetizer was good, and the shrimp Po Boy was surprisingly good. The kids' meals were standard fare and not impressive at all. The beer was good, and they had a much larger selection that their normal selection that is sold in cans at stores. I could see hanging out here, as long as it is a sunny day where most people are at the beach!!

This area has been lacking good ramen and poke bowls but Nanbu helps fill that void. Good ramen and tuna or salmon poke bowls. Everything was fresh and flavorful. They are open only for dinner and closed on Mondays. Decent amount of seating inside plus a small outside patio. Kids would be okay if it is not crowded. Prices are average for the location and good portions. Friendly and attentive staff. Good dinner option for something different along 30A.Thanks so much for the review! We visit AJ's every year while on vacation. Friendly environment/service. The firecracker shrimp was very good. Everyone in our group of nine enjoyed their food. There are also a lot of choices for non-seafood eaters. Highly recommend!

We're staying at the Inn and wanted to have an easy lunch outside. First, the adult pool is closed for remodeling. We grabbed a table and waited for 5ish minutes. No one came out to help us, so my husband went inside to request service. Another 5 minutes went by and finally a server brought us water and menus, then proceeded to disappear for way too long. We had salads and soup. Both were very good, but our server never even refilled our waters and we had to go inside to pay.

After reading the reviews we decided to get pizza and wings to go. The pizza was excellent. The crust was just the right balance of crispy and tasty. The all meat pizza was my favorite. The wings were delicious. Overall a pleasant surprise.

Stopped into the Blue Mabel last week for drinks and appetizers. The interior is sleek and the vibe was friendly. We chose to sit inside but there is outdoor seating as well. They have a nice, but not overwhelming variety of beer and food. This is not even close to bar food though. Itâs an upscale smokehouse. We ordered off the âsmall plates menuâ Wood grilled jumbo Prawns and Smoked brisket dumplings. Both were very good and fantastic flavor!

First visit, execllent service, great grouper sandwich.Second visit 2 days later, terrible service, mediocre grouper sandwich. Server only had two tables, messed up order (blamed kitchen), had to refill water glasses ourselves twice. Charged credit card for an appetizer we did not order. Manager walked by and just looked at us, no apology, nothing.Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experiences. If you are a group of 4 and plan to eat, call and make a reservation. They are a tiny place with one cook, a waitress, and bartender. They make this clear on their website! Don't walk in 10 deep and expect miracles people. Stick with the nachos and tacos, you won't be sad! Avoid the meatloaf, trust me, I absolutely love meatloaf...it was some kind of pressed ground something that was super salty. All 3 of us were disappointed with the mystery meat. There is a song list. Choose the ones you want Redd to sing and write them on your dollar bills. Order lots of drinks and sing along. Crazy fun in the back of a gas station with Christmas lights, boas, wigs, etc.Thank you for a your crazy review! I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the meat loaf. We make it from scratch so it is not a mystery. I wish you had mentioned it to me when you were there so I could have addressed it then.
