Passed this place several times and finally decided to try. Iâve ordered from them twice now, and it was consistently good both times the pizza is flavorful and not too thick or greasy. The folks there are very welcoming and courteous. Fairly small place, so Iâd imagine it could get crowded in there on the weekend. It will definitely be our go-to pizza place as long as we are in this area. Itâs in a fairly quiet strip, so hopefully they can keep the foot traffic up and remain successful. I have not had their burger yet, but folks on google were raving about them. I will give that a shot one day for lunch.

Went here with my family Friday night. I must admit the food is better if you eat in rather than take out. At any rate, our server was absolutely outstanding. We dine out quite a bit, and this level of service is rare. I'm sorry I do not remember her name. But, great job!

In the past, I didn't like the pizza but thought the garlic knots were the best in the Sanford area. For this review, my friend ordered Salad & I got garlic knots for delivery. The garlic knots were mostly burnt (see pic) and disappointing compared to past experiences. I'm unsure if I'll order from here again.

Tonight we ordered online off Uber Eats... which we usually love to do because Mr Zs food is absolutely incredible. Seriously, the cheese sauce, yum! The cheesesteaks.. pizza.. and wings. All really good food. My problem tonight is that this was the third time they have forgotten extra cheese for cheese fries. And I had a health change where I can no longer ingest cheese but my boyfriend can, hence the extra cheese for the fries, so, I ordered a salad, no cheese. When our food arrived, the order was opposite, no cheese and no extra cheese for the *cheese* fries but there was cheese on my salad, so, naturally I got upset. I first called to just let them know, hey you forgot this extra cheese for the third time, just wanting to let you know, I was not looking for anything more than just letting them know.. because like I've said previously, the food is phenomenal. So, once that call was over, I went to get my salad and noticed there is cheese... which I cannot have anymore, so, at this point, my boyfriend decides to leave to get it fixed (bless his heart because we ordered in for a reason), anyways, he gets there, and they give him my salad but lo and behold.. the salad came back with no cheese and no strawberries because they ran out of strawberries, which is cool but they did not even offer anything else, just asked my already annoyed boyfriend if that's okay, he said sure because he had me in mind, knowing I really wanted that salad and was hungry.. so they handed my boyfriend a salad with just spinach and almonds.. this is The Mr Zs salad, by the way. When I talked to the employees working there tonight, I dont believe they knew how to handle a situation like this. On the phone they were very slow at responding to what's happened, and seemed very unsure of what to do and when my boyfriend went to the establishment, it was even worse. He could tell that they were just not focused on their tasks at hand, which just fueled the fire. I don't believe this happens often.. but I just had to let people know or someone know because well, it just kinda sucked getting this service from one of our favorite places to order from/eat at.

This is the closest thing to NY Pizza that I have had since I left NY. The cheese is the perfect consistency and the crust is thinnish and delicious. My husband and I have enjoyed almost everything on the menu, but it is the pizza that keeps us going there.

I ordered my food and got on the interstate heading to my destination. and as we started to get ready to eat, the food was so over cooked and darn near burnt , couldn't even bite into it, we were so disappointed, we called and the girl answering said it was cause they were busy, talked with the manager he said it was because the printer went down, WHAT does that have to do with the way our food was cooked ?Larry, I am very sorry for your recent experience at the Sanford Mellow Mushroom. I would love to make it up to you, and replace your order for you. I appreciate you letting us know, and apologize for the way the situation was handled when you called the restaurant. I have placed your name on our comp log so the next time you would like some of our normally great food, just let us know and we will replace your order for you.

We had lunch at Christo's and were impressed with the items on the menu. Alttile bit for everyone. I ordered a personal margarita pizza. The best margarita pizza I've ever had!!!! I only ate half and had the rest for dinner at home. It was just as good at home as it was there. My husband had a gyro with fries and he loved it. The waitress was very friendly and even gave us cookie on the house to try, which were awesome. They make all their food from scratch and you can tell. This place is worth it.

This was our favorite local pizza place until this past weekend. I placed an online order around 4pm or so for a few pizzas. It hit around 5:15 and I was wondering why no delivery yet. I called the restaurant and the guy that picked up found the order, put me on hold for a few minutes and came back to advise that the order was never made. I asked why and he said something to the effect of somebody clicking on it and then clicking off. At this point, he said they could make the order and get it to me in 25 minutes. I asked to talk to a manager and he said he was a manager. I then asked what they could do due to the inconvenience. My money was already paid through their online portal, so I really just wanted to see how they would handle a customer service issue. He put me on hold, came back and said he talked to the kitchen manager and she said no-go. Full price for the order and if I wanted (which I had already paid), then she would provide 20% off the next order. What went through my mind? Why would I even want to place a subsequent order when they totally messed this one up, had my money and had absolutely no concern over the issue? At that point, I just told him to refund the order and weâd figure out something else for dinner. He said no problem and said he would need to âwriteâ my credit card info down to process the refund. How secure is that?? He told me that was the only method of refunding with their payment system, so I reluctantly provided it so I could get on the road and grab dinner for the family. The majority of e-commerce platforms handling payment information provide a simple refund button functionality to avoid any security issues with writing information such as this down. I am familiar with this because I have accepted payments from clients through a few different platforms. Nonetheless, I left the interaction frustrated and hungry with my money pending refund. Had I not called, weâd still be waiting on that delivery from a few days ago. Itâs a shame that the managers put in place either donât have the concern or empowerment to correct issues that they have made. No matter how much I like their pizza, I will never spend my money there again, and will be sure to share the experience whenever the opportunity arises. And tip for the owner if there is even any concern to read this - get yourself a new payment system so your folks arenât jotting down peoplesâ card info on scraps of paper sitting around your counter if they need to issue a refund. Itâs not only unprofessional, itâs incredibly risky for the customer and your business. I am absolutely embarrased by then way you treated at my restaurant.What you experienced was a dropped order.Our policy is to deliver the order immediately and provide the consumer a full refund, the system tracks by name, so as you stated, its as easy as pressing the refund/void button.I am not sure whom you spoke with, but it looks like we have some retraining to do, and I take full responsibilityfor that.
