Reviews on Healthy food in St. Augustine, Florida, United States. Saint Augustine is a luxurious, romantic vacation spot—you’ll find classic hotels and intimate restaurants. Those can be a dime a dozen, though. What sets Saint Augustine apart is its history—it’s the oldest European settlement in the U.S. And nowhere else in the world can you taste the waters of the Fountain of Youth Archeological Park (where Ponce de Leon may have landed). Who knows, if you vacation here, maybe you won’t need that Botox!

Quaint cafe located within westgate plaza, just miles from downtown st. augustine. AC, comfortable table dining/seating, Manatee motif, modest grocery area.
When visiting my Aunt and Uncle, Florida Residents for over 40 years, it can be incredibly hard to eat out as a vegan. The countless restaurants that can't fathom the dietary requirements of a vegan! This isn't the case at Manatee. The vegan options are sensational. As a pancake lover, I rarely get to enjoy a good stack of pancakes due to them often containing eggs or milk. The vegan stack at Manatee, served with a vegan butter, banana and syrup is a highlight of my visit! The other options, particularly the Tofu Grilled Cheese was enjoyed by my girlfriend. The staff are incredibly accommodating and the sweet tea keeps on coming.I can't wait to come back!

Innovative Southern Cuisine prepared with locally and sustainably produced ingredients. New location at 72 Spanish St.
I always tell people to get off the main street and the Floridian is a good reason to. Nice atmosphere, outside seating and inside plenty of interesting old FL memorabilia to look at. Service was OK, I felt like our server may have been having a bad day, just seemed extremely short with us. We were there at lunch on a Tues and it was obvious that locals come here for lunch. My BLT with fried green tomato sandwich was very good, the last bites a little soggy..my fault I should have flipped it over. Husband's meat loaf sandwich....meatloaf was moist and flavorful, bread was amazing...and it was huge, enough for 2 or a very hungry person. Overall a pleasant experience, would return.
