Family-owned and operated Mediterranean restaurant that also offers a variety of other dishes like crepes!
Joy's Kouzine is one of our go to places for lunch while staying in Venice. Joy and her daughter do the serving and her husband does the cooking. Some of the best Greek food outside of driving to Tarpon Springs. I always order the Chicken Slovake Pita which comes with a ton of grilled chicken tenders, tomatoes, and their homemade tzatzki sauce served on a warm pita. It comes with french fries and colesslaw. My wife almost always orders the Bon Curry Crepe which comes with a salad. I give her most of my french fries and share her salad. I really like the coleslaw but it isn't a favorite of hers. I see other diners ordering the large Greek Salad or one of their lunch platters. You can't go wrong here!!

I joined some friends and we enjoyed a truly enjoyable meal at Lovely Square. The ambience and decor are simple but attractive. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. The food was delicious. It's not a complicated formula: Buy high quality good, cook it to order, present it well. Lovely Square does this all with a French flair. The prices are are reasonable. I highly recommend you try this relatively new restaurant in Gulf Gate!

This ya my third time here. Love the summer cooler with watermelon chunks and fresh mint in it. So good. Grilled Avocado with red sauce was amazing. Great flavors. Chana masala was my main meal. Spiced perfectly - hint of cinnamon perhaps too, and I had to take home half since it was a large portion. This is a place with clean food. I recommend the peanut butter creamy or chocolate dessert.

Word of Mouth diners are know to come for Word of Mouth's breakfast alone, which features several varieties of pancakes, blintzes, crepes and the awe-inspiring Three Amigos Breakfast Burrito. The lunch menu serves a variety of yummy soups, sandwiches and
Dumb title, but believe me, a great breakfast place. This is a very popular place to have breakfast and lunch. When we went for breakfast, we had to wait about six or seven minutes to be seated. That's not a complaint; it just drives home how good the food and service is. Even though it might be crowded, we found the service to be excellent, the breakfast choices plentiful, and the food excellent. If we had been staying in the area longer, we would certainly have returned, and next time we're in the area, they can count on our coming back.

My daughter & I visited here several times during a quick trip to Siesta Key based upon a recommendation by a local friend. The gluten free pancakes & gluten free waffles with mango butter were absolutely amazing! The turkey sausage & coffee finished off this perfect brunch! The place was packed so call ahead to se how long your wait will be.

Fabulous breakfast and lunch served in a quaint "Key West" Style House...unique breakfast fare. Give us a try!
Quaint, lovely little restaurant that is worth a try for breakfast. They have traditional dishes like omelettes and eggs Benedict. They also have unique offerings like a caprese scramble. This is not someplace I would want to visit regularly but it is a nice change from your typical breakfast places.

EGGS-TRAordinary Breakfast and Lunch Cafe is located in Mama Leone's Plaza. Serving Breakfast and Lunch all day. Hours: 7am to 3pm EVERY DAY
Our favorite breakfast in all of Sarasota County, relatively quiet, table cloths, clean , attractive decor, well trained wait staff, friendly, warm and with great chef and staff. HOWEVER, our favorite sausage link in the state of Florida is gone....and the replacement is not nearly in the same class. EGGS....please bring back the old sausage.....please!!!!

Voted Sarasota's Best Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch, First Watch specializes in delicious creations freshly-prepared to order. First Watch begins each morning at the crack of dawn, slicing fresh fruits and vegetables, baking muffins and making French toast ba
My wife and I aren't breakfast people. But while vacationing in Sarasota, Florida, we have discovered that many locals and tourists love their eggs and bacon and coffee in the morning. So we aren't surprised to see so many outstanding breakfast-oriented restaurants in town, even with several locations. The most active is First Watch, with seven locations in the Sarasota area. It advertises itself as a cafe chain for health-minded people with breakfast, brunch and lunch options, such as omelets, salads and soups. We favor the First Watch location at 8383 South Tamiami Trail. Our usual order is orange juice, black coffee, steel cut oatmeal with house-marinated berries, fresh slice banana, pecans, low-fat milk and fresh backed muffin, Belgian waffle with a side of berry compote, syrup, powdered cinnamon sugar and pork sausage links and The Traditional, two scrambled eggs, pork sausage links, whole grain artisan toast and strawberry jam and seasoned potatoes. It's a great way to start any day of the week.
