We returned for a late lunch and the food is as good as we remembered. We shared an order of potato pancakes to start. They were not greasy, but were crisp and tasty with good flavor. We had the Polish sample platter which included 2 pierogis, a kielbasa, sauerkraut and stuffed cabbage. The lunch platter is smaller but there was ample food. The sauerkraut was delicious, topped with caramelized onions. Our server was attentive and efficient.

WHAT IS A HAWKER? Prominent on the streets of Asia, "hawkers" are street vendors who depend on locally grown ingredients to create dishes sold from mobile carts and stands. The most successful recipes, typically passed from one generation to the next, bri
Hawkers makes one of the best Thai Iced Teas in Central Florida, but most of the rest of their food is nothing to write home about. On this visit, we concentrated on their small plates, also known as appetizers. We had the chicken lettuce wraps, and the lettuce was fresh and crisp, but the mix of meat, vegetables, and mushrooms was bland and boring. We also had bao buns with pork. The buns are nice, but the pork is all fat and inedible. Next was a flat bread with curry. The bread is tasty, but the curry was heavy. Golden wantons are usually a favorite of ours, but these were filled with a heavy chicken sausage and nothing else. The sausage weighed down the wantons and made them unpleasant to eat. We also had Nam Nom rolls, which sounded really good on the menu but were supremely disappointing. The blend of lettuce and herbs was nice, but these were filled with the same heavy chicken sausage, which was almost like a hamburger patty inside of the roll, and there was a vinegar dipping sauce that was unpalatable. Basically we spent $40 and got very few things we enjoyed. I won't be back again unless I'm in the mood for a fabulous Thai Iced Tea, but that I can get to go!Hi Kris. Thank you for taking the time to share about your visit with us in Orlando. Hawkers takes great pride in the experience we aim to create for our guests, especially where our menu is concerned, so it's disappointing to hear when it's less than enjoyable or the dishes are being executed without integrity. I do, however, appreciate your specific feedback about the dishes you tried, as it helps us identify areas where we can potentially improve. Again, thank you for your time and for supporting our restaurant by providing feedback! You can email us directly at [email protected]

First timers! The greeter/host was personable. Fantastic service by Shanta and the food was delish!! We enjoyed New Years Day lunch! They only have 2 high chairs and no boosters. They have booths and tables. They have a selection of kid items but not a menu; however, the staff was very accommodating for both no available highchairs and advised the menu items available for children! They had a great array of regular menu items and selection of sushi! We enjoyed the teriyaki chicken lunch box and it had a little bit of everything. We loved the house ginger salad and tempura shrimp roll. I substituted mayo for cream cheese in the roll and it arrived correctly. The waitress was attentive and very friendly! We truly enjoyed our lunch! We will be back!

Lot of vegetarian and non vegetarian Indian options + Thai and Chinese options too. Mohammed was professional, friendly and explained things well. Would definitely recommend! Amazing experience from top to bottom. The staff was extremely courteous and professional. Our waiter Emanulle (Manny) was superb. He was extremely knowledgeable about every item on the menu. We appreciated Manny's recommendations, as every item we ordered was 10/10 great. We are only in town for the weekend, but we already made reservations for later this weekend. Truly some of the best sushi we've ever had, and the service was excellent.
