If you are looking for pig, dog and pigeon (animalistic) treatment, then go there! The waiter treated my partner and i like animals. He had no heart or compassion. It was not until i reviewed the check that it explained why, we were ignored and not even asked, how was the food? They applied a mandatory 15% tip on all orders. How dare they!!! They are unattentive, inhumane and cold :(Somehow, i have to believe that the reason for the unsavory food is becase the cook is NOT Perivian. Plus, the bad unemotional customer service has to be that the waiter is only there for the medical. He needs to be trained! Working within the USA's Food Service industry, one has got to be Customer Centric and love to service/work with people.I have visited two add'l restaurants (El Tropico & Very Crepe) which are both next-door and their Service is surperb! Hence, it is not the neighborhood or the client-base which is wrong! It is the employee and management of Pachamamma who are fueling and serving bad food/customer service.

We had shared a menu, with various types of meat grilled, lamb, pork, beef and chicken. Served with rice and a delicious sauce with black beans in it. Very different, from anything we've ever had - and even more peculiar - fried banana slices on the side. Service was very good too, and a lovely atmosphere. We'd love coming back sometime!

Owned by Wilkins Luque and Chef Ammy Carhuapoma EL TAYTA offers you one of the most flavorful experiences in Peruvian Cuisine, following the real recipies the way mom use to cook it, a huge variety of dishes that will seduce your taste buds, great service
We found ourselves lunching at El Tayta after having reached the point of hunger, where you are ravenous and impatient for the food to hit the table. To our delight, every freshly made-to-order dish arrived quickly, steaming hot and smelling like heaven on a plate. Recommendations from the starving masses, Appetizer: Papa a La Huancaina - Peruvian style yellow potatoes in spicy cheese sauce, accompanied by hard-boiled eggs and black olives; Soup: Aguadito de Mariscos - seafood in a light tasty broth served with rice; and Main: Lomo Saltado Tayta - beef strips, sauteed with onions and tomatoes, served with rice and fries. Each of these were delicious samples of traditional Peruvian fare which we found filling, served with excellent courtesy and worth every penny. I had the mango smoothie, my sister and cousin had the passion-fruit. For fun, we also sampled the Chicha Morada. This is a uniquely Peruvian, non-alcoholic, sweet drink made with purple corn (Maiz morado in Spanish).

Caracol Restuarant blends fresh and local ingredients with expansive Oceanfront views, blue skies and starry nights. Serving a menu of both American and Latin cuisine infused with Miami's traditional tropical flavors set in an elegant, casual atmosphere.
We stayed outside with a wonderful beach view with no expectations. For our surprise the fired calamari as starter followed by great Mediterranean salad and my linguine fruto the mare were simply very, very good, The tomato sauce was mild and tasty for the linguine and correctly aggressive for the calamari. All together, yes we will get back.Dear Carlos, Thank you for your great comments on our cuisine. Our Chef Carlos Candelaria perfectly fuses together American and Latin cuisine using the most succulent flavors of each and creating dishes that surpass your expectations. We are so glad you really enjoyed it. Come back soon!Regards, Neira Pena DuranMarketing Manager

We decided to stop for lunch and liked the choices on the menu. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. None of the 5 of us were familiar with Colombian food and they helped answer any questions. We tried the Tuesday special and the chicken soup was amazing!! The soup would have been enough but we also had a rice dish with chicken and sausage. We also tried the chorizo, chicken, steak and they allowed us to substitute the corn cake for white rice. (Always a plus when a restaurant will allow substitutions!) The food tasted so fresh and homemade. We really loved this restaurant!! PS - we also tried a few of the baked goods for dessert and yummy!!

Being from Arizona we had never had Colombian food. Mexican food and New Mexican food galore. But this was our first time with Colombian. We ate breakfast and dinner here and both meals were outstanding. Like Mexico they already add a tip to the bill of 15%, if you want to give them more just remember you already have 15% in the check. I added another 5%/
