We were Burger Place bound but for the 2nd time they were closed. So we walked around historic Melbourne and happened upon the Off the Traxx Bar and Grill, it didn't disappoint. My husband said this was one of the best burgers he's ever had. He said, it had a grilled delicious seasoned flavor and a very tasty garlic toasted bun. They had cut fries that were cut somewhat like chip but way thicker, so unexpectedly good. I got the Downtowner without olives and was really worried after I read a few of the reviews after I had already ordered. I must say it did not taste like reheated pizza as a few of the reviews said, the crust was actually pretty tasty. It had ample toppings. The place itself was very bar like, service was ample and prices were not bad. My husband was so happy we went in and enjoyed a great lunch.

Understanding that this is their first week of a grand opening (or so we were told), we ordered a caprese salad with our drinks amid then when our drinks were delivered we ordered our pizza, classic cheese with sausage, onion and basil on the side. Our salad came about 5 minutes after our pizza with an apology that the kitchen was behind. The salad did not have more than a few drops of balsamic and one leaf of basil, so more like tomatoes and mozzarella on lettuce. The pizza was delivered without the basil. When we reminded the waitress about the basil she apologized and brought back a stalk of basil. The pizza was good, dough excellent but it needed more sauce. There was only one piece that you could actually see/ taste sauce so next time we will request more. They need to figure out an entrance as there is no room to wait inside. Most people missed the wait to be seated sign outside and walked in not sure what to do/ where to stand. We also saw people sit at a dirty table and it was not cleaned, just a piece of butcher paper put on the table. Again this seems to be opening jitters. I hope they work it out because we would love to return when the kinks get worked out. Thank You for coming by, your feedback and understanding. My wife was behind and didnât get to personally make your Caprese and I decided to push your pizza out first so you had something available more quickly. Iâd like to invite you back if youâd like, let us know and we will remake the Caprese and Pizza for you as a second chance for the team. Thank You again

My dinner guests had pizza which they enjoyed & it looked wonderful. I opted for the chef salad which was huge. Wow - an incredibly large, hearty salad - boiled eggs, tomato wedges, sliced cucumbers, baby carrots, three types of cheese, deli style turkey, deli style ham, assorted greens (romaine lettuce, baby spinach, iceberg lettuce, plus), sliced purple onions, black olives, and more. Obviously, this was a chefâs creation - totally awesome - very tasty salad & very much enjoyed. Server was cheerful, attentive, and accommodating. The restaurant is dated - could definitely use an update & remodel. The restrooms small but clean.

Deangelos has been around awhile which is impressive given their locale. We used to frequent it when we lived near the South Beaches area (ie south of Melbourne Beach proper about 1-2x/month so Iâm fairly familiar with it. Itâs truly a crapshoot there in terms of food quality and service although Iâve never had a âbad mealâ there although the service is wanting at times. The food quality varies from average to good and the service from bad to good (although it was only a few times I actually had bad service). I imagine it is just very difficult to keep a full time staff as the area is sparsely populated and we would often not see another party in for dinner on weeknights from the beginning to the end of the meal. Honestly Iâm surprised the restaurant is still open, not because the food is bad, business is just nonexistent for months at a time. Given all this it is impressive DeAngelos still has a restaurant at all and has managed over all above average food with the potential for better. The servers come and go there with such frequency that the manager is filling in as server more often than not. Perhaps if more people frequented Deangelos they could realize their full potential. Both the New England Eatery and the coconut cove cafe have managed to create a consistent product with a a relative dearth off patrons, I see no reason why Deangelos couldnât manage the same.

First off the two pizzas were excellent, no complaints! The issue they have is that their website menu is out of date per the bartender by 10 years. The computer charges a different price over the web menu and printed menus per the bartender. No carry out menus either. Not good for business and easy to fix!

Stopped on our way back from Palm Beach Shores and had a medium pizza and Ice tea. The pizza was cooked perfect, the sauce was good and lots of cheese. Growing up in Philly I know good Italian Pizza and this one was very good. Service was great and food was to our table very quickly even though it was a busy afternoon.

Beachside location. The original same owner for 25+ years. Heavily involved in the community. Best pizza in Brevard County!!
These guys were so disorganized they didnât know where half of the orders were going and people were taking out slices that were supposed to be part of dine in orders. They also apparently canât get a simple free device to take credit or debit cards and their atm was broke. I had to drive a few miles to get cash and come back only to find that I couldnât get a full pizza because they were closing early and refusing to cook any more pies. Nobody cares about getting a legit Brooklyn harda$$ attitude with their slice of pizza, they just want food and decent service thatâs at least as good as a lemonade stand
