Visited this wonderful little cafe with a friend that has been going there for several years. I was not aware that is was there. What a delightful experience. The food was outstanding. My understanding was that they make the food fresh daily and after eating there it is no surprise. My first visit had a Cuban sandwich and red beans. Both were just plain "yummy". My second visit 5 days later was with a friend from Miami. Having pretty much grown up on Cuban food was anxious to try it. We both had the shredded beef with rice and beans, potato ball and beef empanadas. Nothing to be said but EXCELLENT. A clean as can be place with fantastic food that you can eat in or take out. What more could be said. Just go and try it out and you will understand. So glad to have found this treasure.

My girlfriend and I had dinner on Thursday last week. We were afraid they were closed and found ourselves the only ones there, a father and his kids came later. We both ordered the Cuban roast pork with black beans, rice and plantains. Started off with a white cheese fondue. I have read all the other reviews and can only review my dinner. The pork was very tender and flavorful, plantains we're done perfectly, beans were tender. The cheese dip was huge, chips were fresh and we both ended taking food home. My partner ordered a plan to go and told me later it was the best one she ever had. Service was fast and the waitress was very attentive. They knew I had a Groupon up front, but that didn't reduce the amount of food, or quality of service. I rated it 4 stars only because they are remodeling and the inside is in disarray. I plan on going back often.

I was visiting a good friend who lives nearby and she recommended we go here for lunch after our Epcot Wine and Dine 10K and our 1/2 mile Lucky's Lake Swim because we were HUNGRY! My friend, Denise frequents this restaurant a lot and is friends with the owners. The owners, a husband wife and daughter team (maybe a son too but he was not there) were very personable and friendly and helped me pick my lunch. I ordered a water, coffee, and the chicken with yellow rice and black beans. The chicken was so flavorful and the rice and beans delicious. I would go back to this restaurant in a heart beat. From the outside, it might not seem like such an awesome place, but don't let looks deceive you- it is amazing and the menu was extensive! The prices were also super- if I remember correctly, pretty much everything was $7.00 and under. WOW, yes!Great place owned by a great family-please check this place out you won't be disappointed! I wish I had a picture of my food to share!

We had amazing night here. Racquel is an incredible server. Super polite, great recommendations and good choice of nail polish. The scallops were the star of the menu. Perfectly cooked. I havenât enjoyed anything in my mouth that much since my days working the streets.Kudos to the chefs!!!

Authentic Cuban food, a new concept of fresh and house made food with a distinctive service that offers a culinary experience with no comparison. The House specialty is focused on Cuban Pork and Caribbean Seafood.
I love this place. We live in Daytona, but we like to come here when we have the chance. My favorite is the Vaca Frita, which is a fried shredded beef. So delicious. I don't see this on many menus so I get it here when I come. Staff is always friendly and the food is outstanding and authentic. Also, you HAVE to get a cup of coffee. Try the Cortadito. Oh my goodness. Best in the universe. :-) One final note: they bake their bread fresh, so don't forget to order some with your meal. Thank you Becky, we hope to see you again soon!!!

A friend from South Florida recommended this restaurant to us. We've been to several Cuban restaurants in the area, and had not been terribly impressed. But wow. This was so good, and so cheap. The key to any sandwich is the bread, right? this bread is fantastic, crunchy but not too tough on the outside, tender on the inside so that it presses down nicely. The Cuban delivers, but the Brenda is just incredible. I asked the staff what sandwich they recommend, and the Brenda was the pick. The soups are terrific too. The lentil and chorizo is flavorful and filling, but the caldo gallego is even better. The papa rellena, empanadas, and plantains were great as well.
