Reviews on Pub food in Perdido Key, Florida, United States. Perdido Key, which means “Lost Key” in Spanish is a narrow strip of white beaches and aquamarine waters where beachcombing, fishing and sailing are ways of life not just recreation choices. Perdido Key’s unspoiled beaches are the island’s main attractions. Undulating wind built sand dunes are dotted with sea oats, bunch grass and beach grass. Venture to the eastern end of the island to the Gulf Islands National Seashore where swimming, snorkeling, fishing, boating, bird watching and hiking are popular pastimes.
Tee time, anyone? Two exceptional golf courses are easily accessible, the Perdido Bay Golf Club, a links style course, and Lost Key, a target-style design fashioned by Arnold Palmer designated as an Audubon Signature Cooperative Sanctuary golf course. Other preferred activities on Perdido Key include dolphin watching excursions, moonlight cruises and sailing tours.
Perdido Key is also known for its out-of-the-ordinary celebrations such as the New Year’s Polar Bear Dip and the Interstate Mullet Toss. For a non-stop celebration, drop by the legendary Flora-Bama Lounge on Perdido Key, a beachside oyster bar, beach bar and Gulf Coast cultural landmark.
Pensacola is located only 15 miles from Perdido Key offering a wealth of day trip options to attractions like Historic Pensacola Village, the National Museum of Naval Aviation, Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum and Fort Pickens, a fort built in 1834 and once occupied by federal troops during the Civil War.

The best place to let loose after or during a fun day on the water is at Sportsman Marina! Come by boat or car to Pleasure Island Tiki Bar -- the newest open-air watering hole on The Island! Pleasure Island Tiki Bar is THE place to be!
After our visit last year, Pleasure Island Tiki was a must for this years vacation and it was just as good. The place is always packed, but we lucked into the perfect table, just close enough to the live music (which was very good). Pleasure Island Tiki makes one of the best bushwackers around and has a wonderful view of the water. We also enjoyed a hamburger, cooked to perfection and perfectly yummy. Looking forward to next year already.

Place still still needs a good cleaning. The nachos have changed I used to like them because the chips where actuall wonton chips now just another nacho plate boring chips with all the other cheese, meat cabbage and everything else they put on them just dropped on top. The bottom three layers of chips were just plain dry with no cheese or anything else. Also they need to turn up or maybe just need to turn on the carnation on the sodas tastes just like syrup and othing else. Thanks for taking time to let us know about your recent visit. Please know your comments have been passed to upper management for further review and action. Were you able to let the Oyster Bar know you were dissatisfied with you Nachos? They would have been happy to make you another batch to your liking! We do hope you'll com back to visit us again as we would love the opportunity to leave a better impression.

The Flora-Bama Ole River Bar is a bar & grill located on Ole River and across the street from the world famous Flora-Bama.
We started our visit here off on a rough foot. There were 13 of us, 4 adults and 9 kids ages 7-16. When we went to check-in, it took much longer than the lunch crowd seemed to warrant for someone to come and help us. (There was a group of adults who ended up just walking in and sitting down on the porch in front of us and didn't wait to be seated.) We were told it would be a while before they could seat us at all, even split up, even though we could see multiple tables open, and even though we repeatedly said we could split into multiple tables again. It really felt like they didn't *want* to seat us, which was super odd. We ended up going downstairs and seating ourselves. While the service was likely slower there, there was plenty of space. Onto the food, the drinks we ordered were good. I really enjoyed the strawberry daiquiri. The food portions, however, were pretty stingy. Not a single person had left-overs, and a few of us actually left hungry (I had a steak salad which was super tasty, but stingy on the lettuce. The lettuce is the cheap part! Throw some extra in!) It ended up costing us quite a bit more than when we ate at a fancier place a few days later due to the portion sizes. (My husband's chicken sandwich on toast with fries was $16.)Overall, we had a good time. Everyone's food tasted good. The kids were happy we went. The ambiance was cool. But, don't expect to have leftovers or to be able to share a meal.We very much appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your recent visit. Please know that your comments have been passed to upper management for further review and action. On behalf of Ole River Grill, I want to sincerely apologize for the the experience you all had. I'm not in the business of making excuses so I won't take up your time with that as it seems you may have caught us at a "not our best" moment. Can you tell me if a manager ever came to check on ya'll, or were you able to speak to a manager while there? Again, I extend our sincerest apologies for this occurrence, and we'd love to have you back in effort to make things right. Please feel free to email any additional info/comments to me at [email protected].

We ave been to Perdido Key many times and have never visited Hub Stacy's at the Point. We visited on our recent trip and we will definitely be back. The atmosphere, food, and service were all exceptional. This is a wonderful location for either lunch or dinner if you enjoy a relaxed environment with great food and service.
