Enjoyed virtually everything about the place. I ordered the burger and it was huge and made with quality meat. My husband ordered the avocado and crab Pita which was full of fresh crab meat. Menu wasn't your typical bar food.Lots of beer in cans to select from as well as six or seven on tap. Sat outside, and they only negative about the whole restaurant was the sound of the six-lane road beside us. Wouldn't change anything else about the place.

This was a very cool place. Several of us had drinks at the bar for Happy Hour before dinner. Drinks were a little small, but good. We we're a group of 8. We started with the BBQ pork Egg rolls, which were really good, disappointed they were served with just a ranch dressing. Enjoyed the pretzel bites! I ordered the Elk Burger with was cooked perfectly, it was juicy and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals, salmon, club sandwich (with incredible bacon!), Chicken and waffles. The service was great! I'd definitely come back. Thanks for your kind words David, we're thrilled to hear the whole group had a nice time! Looking forward to having you back soon :)Cheers,The Batch Team

A friend and I went to the Blue Anchor for the first time to have a birthday lunch. The quiche and the beer battered mushrooms were excellent. The fish and chips were mediocre...definitely not the best I have ever had. We felt sorry for the waitress because she seemed to be the only one working the tables. That being said, our waitress never asked if we wanted another drink nor were the water glasses re-filled. I did ask for lemons during our lunch and, at the end of the meal, asked to see the menus, again, because we wanted to order dessert. A man was the person that brought the food to the tables, not the waitress. When we were finished with our lunch, we wanted to share a slice of cake for our birthdays. The waitress was behind the counter but the man was at the table, next to us, putting down food. I asked him if he could ask the waitress to come over and he rudely said he was busy with a table. When he finished, he turned to me and asked what I wanted and I asked if he would ask the waitress to come over. He said to tell him what we wanted, and I told him what dessert we wanted. Dessert was wonderful (Bailey's chocolate mousse). After we were finished with dessert, the waitress brought over the bill and put it on the table. I immediately put my credit card with the bill, and, by that time, the waitress had turned around. I said, "Excuse me..." so that I could hand her the bill with my credit card and she turned around and, very angrily, said...'YOU HAVE INTERRUPTED ME ENOUGH TODAY"... My friend and I were dumbfounded and, without saying a word, I handed the waitress the bill and credit card. I have NEVER been spoken to as rudely as she spoke to me. She never apologized for her attitude. When she brought the bill back for my signature, she still did not apologize. On top of everything....she did not bring me back my credit card. After several minutes, she must have realized she had not returned it, and brought it over and put it on the table. Still no apology. There are too many good restaurants in Delray Beach to ever be put through that type of humiliation again. I don't know who owns this establishment but I hope they hire more staff so that the overworked staff are not so overwhelmed with their job.I will not return and I will spread this story to as many people as possible.

Fun, active, lively place – plus live music. Another highlight – ½ price shots for the now relatively frequent trains that pass by! The mojitos were not the best I have ever had but passable. Always a crowd watching and listening to the music, inside and outside. Just had drinks but looks like a good menu.

You know when someone is just having a bad day you can kind of sense it, sympathize and overlook it, that was not the case here. We were a party of two and wanted to have a cocktail before dinner, my friend having frequented this establishment prior to our visit recommended it. My dinner companion decided on wine, I asked our server what she suggested and with a scowl she tossed a beverage menu at me. Thinking she was just busy and a little stressed I overlooked it. Our server then proceeded to laugh and socialize with other patrons and staff members, returning to us we were again treated to the same terrible treatment. Upon leaving my friend called out her poor behavior and she immediately verbally abused her. The beverages were good, the atmosphere and music great but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement when it comes to service.Hi Liz, I am sorry for the delay in getting a message to you. We are sorry you experienced poor service and I know our General Manager would love to speak with you further to make it right. Can you please reach out to me at [email protected] so we can connect?
