Located in the heart of Surfside, FL, this cute and very elegant coffee shop looks like a boutique, with such a pretty inside decoration and wonderful staff.My daughter and I tried so many delicious sweets. Chocolate mouse, macaroons ( I had the pistachio one) so flavorful and moist. All their sweets are made with French butter as they told us, and you can honestly feel and taste the difference. These pastries were so light and I loved how them.I parked on a spot I found in the street and paid with the phone application; PayByPhone.Thank you, everyone, Merci!Ubicada en el corazón de Surfside, FL, esta linda y elegante cafeterÃa parece una boutique, con una decoración interior bonita y un personal maravilloso.Mi hija y yo probamos muchos dulces deliciosos. Although I am not one who likes Cupcakes or Macaroons, my wife is an avid fan of Laduree and we have eaten them in Paris as well as in New York. Our experience in Miami both at the Lincoln Road store and the Bal Harbor store are that they do not get them fresh daily. As much as she likes them, they have a short shelf life, so getting them a day or 2 old shortens them even more. When you pay the high price that they charge which includes getting an air shipment from Paris, they should be fresh.

Small restaurant, maybe 8 assorted tables and a little noisy, but excellent dishes with a good selection. Concerned and professional waitstaff. Beautiful presentation and delicious from the bread to the desserts and every course in-between!

I was very disappointed by this café. I went on a regular weekday and sat outside on the sidewalk. I order an egg salad sandwich, which took 45 min to come. Even getting a drink took 20 min. I thought it was busy inside, but when I went to pay, the place was almost empty, except for two customers. As I walked to the cash to pay, the man who seems to be the owner told me to wait a second. He went to the kitchen, never to be seen again. I had to wait for another inordinately long amount of time for a random server to make me pay. Also, my meal was just okay. Good morning At café vert we take comments very seriously. Therefore, when we hear that your service was terrible and your food just okay we want to know more about what happen to make sure something like that does not happen again. Our friends who live at 5600 Collins invited us to join them at LâEdito. What a pleasant surprise! Located along the inter coastal offering great views and sunsets, we thoroughly enjoyed dining here. We were greeted warmly by the owners and seated at a comfortable table where we proceeded to order a couple of bottles of Spanish white wine, some apps which included escargot, mussels Provençal and country pate ! Off to a great start, two of us had the vole au vent, another the duck breast and the Sebastien salad with smoked salmon. The owner kept things moving along. She is upbeat and pleasant and service was spot on even though the restaurant was also hosting a birthday celebration the evening we dined. We shared the coconut and white chocolate soufflé and tarte tartin for dessert which finished our evening. We highly recommend dining here not only for the quality of the food and service but the reasonable and fair pricing and look forward to another visit. Unfortunately it will not be until next winter as we head back to NYC tomorrow.

We stopped by Le Zoo with friends while shopping at the Bal Harbor Shoppes. Beautiful ambiance (very French bistro) and a nice wine list. Food was limited, especially if you are a vegetarian and dairy-free. Nevertheless we had a glass of wine and lots of fun..A little noisy too!
