We are not terribly old but not exactly young, either, and while we applaud the popularity of Denise's (deservedly), we are not interested in waiting outside in the SE FL heat and humidity for upwards of 30 minutes. Denise's used to take (and honor) our reservation for one of the larger tables, but apparently this policy has changed and it is strictly first-come, first-served. Fine if you are on your own time -- those of us with church commitments and time restrictions, however, must do what we can. Nothing wrong with food, service, etc., even if table space is crowded and noise level can be deafening . . . We may try again at some time, perhaps after this high-season timeframe.

Proudly serving made to order & homemade, breakfast, Lunch & dinner, since 1991. American, Greek, Italian & Fish menu available.
Outstanding rating because the food was enjoyable to taste and eat, super pleasant waitress and efficient, while the place is simple and clean itâs inviting as a diner should be. Was hungry and so forgot to take photos. The Greek salad was delicious. Olives, Feta cheese, cuckes & tomatoes and the optional anchovyâs. Greek dressing was ât sharp but yes tasty. Grilled cheese, with tomato & bacon, was flavorful â scrumptious. On rye with slaw & pickle sides. Glad I lunched here ! Must be popular too and it was 80% filled up. Ample parking front, side & rear. Thank you for your visit & positive review. Weâre delighted you enjoyed the food, service & atmosphere. We look forward to your next visit. Again thanks for the mentions.

They advertise that this is the home of the 14 ounce cup. You would assume that meant cup of coffee. Guess what, they don't serve this and have not done so for years. They have a few cups in the back you could ask for but I was told people thought it was a soup bowl. They should remove this from their sign and menu. Got the meat omelet. It was so dry I needed the big cup of coffee to put in down. The toast had some weird oil on it, not butter. Staff were very nice, place looked ok. Guess have to try something they are good at making.

Off hey 1, Michaelâs Cafe 2 provides a substantial breakfast. If youâre not that hungry try one of the five small breakfast specials ( for example half order of French Toast) which all include coffee for only $5.50. Other meals donât include coffee so donât be surprised. With tip, substantial breakfast for two about $25.

Duffyâs is a plain looking diner in a strip mall, but itâs ambience, food and service are worthy of the best of New Jerseyâs fabled diners. We had Sunday lunch with another couple and enjoyed bothe the food and the vibe. Highly recommended!

The Red Fox has been a tradition in Lighthouse Point for over 40 years. We offer quality, made to order food and friendly service! Many locals eat here every day - stop in and see why. We serve breakfast all day. Be sure to check our the days lunch specia
Can get busy. A locals restaurant for the most part. Multi-generational customers, from senior citizens to young children. Good restaurant for singles, couples, families. They all fit in. Basic interior. Clean men's room. Lots of breakfast and lunch menu items. I got a chicken wrap with french fries. The food was above average. The service was poor. The food took too long to get out of the kitchen. My waitress never offered to refill my empty water glass, and water was my only beverage. When I asked for a doggie bag, she brought me a Styrofoam container that was obviously too small to hold all the food I was bringing home. I had to hail her over to my table and ask for a larger Styrofoam container, which she then brought to me. But she just left it on the table and didn't scoop my food into it from my plate. She left that for me to do -- not very professional on her part. Then I had to ask for a plastic bag for the Styrofoam container once I had scooped the food into it. The waitress should have brought the plastic bag when she brought the Styrofoam container, without being asked to do it.I'm sorry to hear that your food took a long time to be served. All entrees are made to order and are made in the order received. I do apologize if it took longer than normal as our kitchen is usually pretty quick. Concerning the "to go" box. Yes I agree that the server should have been aware that you needed the large box (we have 2 sizes) but servers never touch the food. Our customers always fill their to go boxes. And most people, if they only have one container, don't want the bag but again the server should have offered one to you. I do appreciate your comments and I will review them with our manager and staff.
