Authentic Caribbean Cuisine
First time .. will not be our last. Caribbean cuisine at its best. We ordered the Pork Mofongo (fried chunks of pork w/mashed green plantains ⦠tasty treat. Next, I ordered the Churrasco (grilled skirt steak) stuffed with sweet plantains and provolone cheese, topped with a delicious mushroom gravy .. OMG ⦠heavenly. Portion was so large, we ate half, to save room for their dessert ⦠Spanish custard flan (coconut). Restaurant is super clean, friendly staff, front door parking, and reasonable prices. Cash or credit, tables & chair seating. Hope this helps with your first visit.

I love Jamaican food and I'm picky. This was delicious. I had curry chicken with rice and peas, veg and plantain. My vegetarian daughter had all that without chicken. The owner was really awesome, giving her curry shrimp sauce for her rice. We really enjoyed the place. Oh, they have ting :)

This very small restaurant serves up big meals. The prices are extremely fair for the amount and quality of food you receive. The food is delicious and always ready. Mostly Puerto Rican cuisine.

This is a trailer permanently parked beside the Shell station by Winn Dixie. Ray and his staff create mouth watering Cuban sandwiches loaded with meat and cheese on a large bun painted with melted butter. They're a bargain, being large enough to feed two people or stuff one big appetite. This is a strictly "to go" place with no seating except on the curb in the parking lot. No shade either.

Copacabana is a Spanish Caribbean Restaurant. We serve Cuban, Puerto Rican, & Dominican dishes. We have been in business since 2006. We have been voted "Best Spanish Food" in Hernando County by the Hernando Today newspaper. We also do catering.
Awesome little hideaway tucked in a shopping plaza, plenty of parking. Large menu, can't pronounce some of the entrees but they do explain what each one entails. Small and clean dining area, usually take out. No disappointments here. Would have rated 5, service time could use a little twerking but will definitely be back.

I ate at this restaurant, when it first opened, back in April, 2013. I found the food to be authentic, tasty, and affordable. family operation, with mom cooking, and daughters serving. Wonderful people. I recently stopped for dinner, but found the restaurant no longer in the building. Not sure if they moved, but I believe they closed up (unknown why). Sad, but, as we all know, restaurants come and go. Best of luck to the family ... wherever you are!
