I love eating different types of food, and Laotian is new for me. After 3 visits to this restaurant, i am thoroughly enjoying the experience. It is small and personal, with many menu options, including bbq and fried chicken. My favorite menu item is the steamed fish wrapped in banana leaves which is perfectly seasoned and delicious. The lab chicken is also fresh and flavorful. The staff is warm and freindly and anxious to please every customer. Definitely worth a try!

We always judge hibachi against our local favorite- this didn't quite match up but it was still very, very good. The rice was average and the noodles were less-than-average (they tasted like something from a fast food, mall food court-kind of joint) but the chicken was great and the filet was exceptional (and the portions were extremely generous). We will definitely return when in the area.

I have enjoyed the food from this restaurant many times. Tonight the restaurants management has sorely disappointed me and offered no remediation to their own problem. The issue: Their menu clearly states Bento Boxes and Combos on their online menu page 1 are available until 7pm on their website. Tonight I call and try to order a combo and they tell me these now end at 5 pm. I called in my order for delviery at about 5:02. I argued that they should honor their menu and should still offer me what is listed on their website they flatly refused even when I was placing a large order! The excuse: Their website person is too busy to update the website to reflect the changes. While that may be the restaurant is still advertising and offering this on their website. My Opinion of the situation: They should have honored the offer they advertise on their website, bottom line, its illegal to not to. Especially when as a many time returning customer, I have no way of knowing these changes without them updating their online menu! This is especially irritating having just missed their unadvertised 5:00 deadline and they conveniently don't deliver until after 5:00.This is how you lose a customer that's ordered from you for years and has spent a lot of money on your food! Customer service is important, you have a serious problem if you can not honor your offers!

The food isnât bad, itâs just different than traditional Asian places Iâve been too. Nothing has been bad, it just tastes different. General Tsoâs chicken had a soupy mix, the steamed dumplings use a different meat mixture. Itâs not the typical tastes Iâm used to. Iâm not complaining about it, just different. Thereâs a cocktail bar there that you can have a drink while youâre waiting for your takeout.

Spontaneous stop into Thai Star for the 1st time. Warm welcome by staff and sushi chefs. Yummy start with Tom Yum Shrimp & large saki (in adorable his and her koozies) Shared the Lady Finger with hubby - fresh, filling & delicious. Cozy setting, attentive service & reasonable prices. We will be back.

Almost everyone loves this place because of Jimmy the friendly owner. He knows all his customers and will even call you if they get in your favorite fish. The spicy tuna sashimi is wonderful. Love the variety of specialty rolls. Jimmy has even been known to drink saki with his customers. It is a nice, clean, friendly place. Closed Sunday's however.
