This little cafe is a jewel of a Thai restaurant, unpretentious and comfortable. Situated on a side street in the artsy Northwood district it features a full, excellent Asian menu. Our tastes run light so we were pleased with the appetizer portions of Thai steamed dumplings and the hamachi jalapeño. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.

We ate here for the first time today and enjoyed it. Large bowls are 10.99-14.99 depending on the meat chosen. The large bowl is about the size of a bowl at Chipotle. The operation is similar to Chipotleâs in many ways. You order your food in a line and than your bowl is composed along an assembly line. The ingredients are generally healthy and tasty. We both got the Thai bowl. We're so happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for the love!

The only good thing about this restaurant is the food. The service is terrible and NO ONE has the right attitude to be in the service business. Suffers from continual staff turnover and during the last visit there was a screaming match going on in the kitchen. We keep going back in the hope that it will improve - it gets worse. After thirty years, we have made our last visit.

We visited here for our last meal of the vacation, and werenât disappointed. We had starters of Calamari and spicy conch. The calamari was perfect - crispy and not oily. Conch was an interesting variation, with the right amount of spice, for me at least. Our mains were crispy duck and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai may actually be the best I have ever tried. Overall we ordered a little too much. Only slight niggle was the waitress asking about us not adding a tip on the credit card. We prefer to tip cash (which we did), but Iâ m not sure I have ever had to be prompted in the past.

We loved this place the first time we went.Great restaurant in a ugly building. They are currently getting their bearings. Currently they have dropped lunch and their formerly famous happy hour isn't there.Certainly service suffered but last night it was fine. Dish timing was fine, water filled. Trying hard, asked how they could improve. They used to have a great pork belly dish, not anymore, it was the only thing we would not really order again."Poke poke" was fun, we just unstacked it was poke on a fried wonton skin. Kind of like three Asian street tostadas stacked on each other.Thai Basil stir fry was light, fresh, satisfyingly and delicious.Great version of the Green Papaya salad. The worst thing was the black background menus, they are a bit hard to read..We are anxious to see their new happy hour, it was how we found the place in the first place. Bottom line, one of those places that would be more crowded if it were in a better location. Because of that check the marketing services, they were on Local Flavor.
