We've been here for lunch & dinner and have done take out. All three times the food was fantastic. The staff is exceptional - pleasant & professional. Our waiter was Jason & we also met Ariel on this visit; she's an absolute delight. This area's dining landscape is much richer with this addition.

Stopped to eat lunch after viewing the manatees at the electric company. We were impressed with the many variable choices of food items. From salads, to sushi to stir fry and my favorite apps. Staff was friendly. We left full and happy.
Florida, United States Food Guide: 8 Pub food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Ruskin
The food was good the prices were reasonable however both my wife and myself felt the chicken and the steak was rather tough. My scallops was quite delectable and the quantity of food provided for the price charge was excellent. It had a very good taste but I didn't feel it was exceptional and to earn a 4 or 5 star rating from me you have to have exceptional food. The staff were polite and courteous and brought the food to your table. Our friend had the sushi and it was very good she said. We will return.

Sitting at the house with the last remnants of house guests (10) and needed to do something other than turkey, leftovers etc. We wanted to try Zpan. But getting seats for 10 is problematic anywhere - and I wanted to watch football - so we called in the order. They are busy - which was a good indicator to me. I also actually liked that they required you to give a Credit Card # for the order. I thought that was a good business move.So what did we get:- Hibachi Chicken dinner ($14.95) with salad, soup and rice: A big hit with the family. The chicken as cooked exceptionally well; crisp veggies; onion soup was hot and tasty Oh, and if you want Fried Rice instead of plain white +$1- Chicken Tempura ($14.50). Nice light batter - was NOT soggy getting it home. A crowd pleaser!- Hibachi Fried Rice ($9.95). Cooked perfect like you were at the table. We have a lot of rice eaters-Salmon Teriyaki Dinner ($15.95). My mother in law loved it - two pieces of filet, cooked nicely with a great sauce.-Sashimi Deluxe ($22) - 19 pieces of fish - I received Tuna, Salmon, Octopus, White Fish, White Tuna. It hit the spot!I need to mention - the packaging of the food is phenomenal - they have sectioned containers so that the dinner is not slopped into one container but has sections for meat, veggies etc. Great Move! The food is great for take-out....its almost like we had eaten onsite and had take-home containers. Will we be back: YES.

I have been to numerous sushi restaurants across the Tampa Bay area. I have found that most utilize their posh ambiance & mystical atmosphere to their advantage, detracting from the actual quality of the sushi.Yanagi does not have, 30' ceilings, eclectic pieces of artwork, luxurious glass lighting flown in from the orient, or 100 gallon fish tanks BUT it does have the most fabulous sushi that I have had the priveledge to eat, a quaint atmosphere, and excellent staff. The sushi chef has perfected his craft for over 25 years and presents each dish as if it were a work of art! I love it!
