Both the food and service are very good but it can be expensive. Started with Pulpo ala Gallega, Steamed octopus with spinach paprika and extra virgin olive oil. Also Chorizo al Jerez, Spanish sausages sautéed with olive oil, garlic and white wine. both veryt asty. For mains, my wife ordered the Quesadillas with Grilled Chicken ,a Large Flour Tortilla, Stuffed With Onions, Peppers, Pico De Gallo And Cheese. I had the Olivia's Cazuelit, shrimp, scallops, calamari, mushrooms and chorizo, all sautéed with garlic, olive oil and wine. both were very good.

From one of our customers: "The BEST mexican restaurant in South Florida. I've lived in LA for almost 10 years now, but every time I come back home to South Florida I make a trip (or 2, or 5) to La Bamba. it's not fancy, the flavors aren't complex or mast
After reading the mixed reviews I decided to give it a try. We went for an early dinner. Margaritas were a bargain at $3.50 and great with the chips and salsa. I ordered a combo platter with a taco and cheese enchilada. Both very good and very filling. This is going to be my taco place when I need my Tex-Mex fix. No issues with service, our server David was friendly and responsive.

We had two excellent dinners here. There are a variety of grouper and snapper dishes on the menu. The ones we tried were all well prepared and presented. The sangria was fruity without being overly sweet. The flan was yummy.Phyllis and her husband are delightful hosts.
