Mezcal Mexican Grill, Where tradition meets local flavor, and quality is our main ingredient. Our menu of authentic Mexican recipes infused with a coastal Southern flair will tempt the tastebuds and satisfy the soul. We've pulled the best from both worlds
Good food, honest hard-working pleasant staff! We ate dinner here, and had an excellent meal. There were four in our party and everyone ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food. The chicken enchiladas were great, I did get them without the red sauce and had them add queso sauce and they were delicious . Others had Street tacos, vegetarian burrito, and fajitas. Marlin our server was pleasant and attentive and took care of us well! We paid for the meal and left. The next morning my husband realized he had lost his money. We frantically searched everywhere to no avail. Waiting until the restaurant opened at 11, we called there on the chance that someone had found it. Much to our surprise, their employee Wilmath had found our money and turned it in for safekeeping. It was quite a large amount of money and we were thrilled that there are still good honest people in the world. Thank you so much to the staff and management at Mezcal.

My first visit to this restaurant was April of 2018. It has been my favorite Mexican restaurant between Destin and Panama City Beach. But today it is no longer. The queso was watery and something just didn't taste right about the salsa. I ordered a combo with a chile relleno and it was the worst thing I have ever eaten. It was Green as in raw and there was no meat in it just a very thin layer of cheese. I don't know if they have a new cook or what is happening but I would steer clear of this place for a while and see if they improve. It's really sad because it was good at one time.

Unless you are desperate for Mexican food in this area, I would avoid. Dinner for 2, 1 app and tea was $48. Food was flavorless and barely above warm in temperature. Ordered a chimichanga and it was doughy. Ordered #15 enchilada meal, chicken and beef were flavorless. Cheese enchilada was actually pretty good. Cheese sauce and chips was pretty decent.

North Beach Tortilla Co.is a taco and tequila bar overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay. The restaurant has a large covered deck featuring a selection of 100 tequilas, craft cocktails, and draft beer. The menu is a mix of Spanish, Southwestern, and Florida c
We were greeted at the door and met very friendly staff and servers! Drinks were ordered, and came out in small glasses, which was our first disappointment. The drinks also lacked the kick that we expected, though they were tasty. We ordered the Mexican Street Corn with the home-made pork skins, and it came out in a beautiful display on the plate, but we found the corn not to be hot, indicating it was not as fresh as it could have been.We were told our entrees would be a while since we both chose different group menu items. However, before we finished out first drinks with the paper straws provided, both of us got our plates. The grouper tacos were okay, nothing to write home about, and definitely not the best in town. The grilled grouper was very good, but no cocktail sauce was offered. The steamed arugula was quite salty, but the ground beans from China were quite tasty. The inside dining room was not crowded at all, even though the parking lot across the street was pretty-much packed. We found mos of the Yuppie crowd was outside at the bar. Restrooms were not gender-specific.So as not to leave and drive home miserably-stuffed, we ordered the freshly-made banana cream pie. The pie was sliced in a very wide slice, and was packed with strawberries around the base and a mint leaf. (Very nice-size slice of pie)We compare our dining experiences, and find this place to be okay, but nothing to write home about. I really don't see us returning any time soon, even though the place was unique, clean and the staff were very cordial. We were constantly interrupted by a single, black fly for most of the evening, which finally decided to leave us alone about the time we signed the ticket.
