We were all in the mood for Mexican and right away we knew Tijuana flats! We've all been there before and really enjoyed the food. Befote we even sat down Megan asked for our drink order. Our appetizer was salsa, quac and cheese chips. My grandson ordered chicken quesadilla, i ordered nachos with beef, my vegetarian grandaughter ordered 2 rice and 2 bean sides. Kit?, very nice gentleman, brought our food and Megan and Savannah kept our refills coming. All very pleasant and professional staff, very short wait, nice hot fresh food, very reasonably priced. Will continue to frequent this restaurant.Sue Conn

Recently opened, family owned. Nice clean decor - tables are interesting with succulents and cacti "built in" - hope they don't get ruined over time. Most importantly - delicious fresh poke. Easy to follow build-a bowl (or burrito). I have a big appetite so I was planning on adding an extra scoop of protein but the two scoops (tuna and salmon) were very generous - keep that up.I love cauliflower rice, disappointed to see the $2 upcharge but I know it is labor intensive. It was very well done.I really liked the spicy classic sauce and the addition of fresh jalapenos. My vegetarian husband had the tofu - he was not as thrilled as I was - but he was happy to have the vegetarian option. The owner (manager?) and staff person were both very friendly and helpful. The portions were generous but crammed into a take-out container. When I eat in, I prefer to eat on re-usable plates.Prices are on the high side but not ridiculous. Better to pay a little more than to get a "bargain" and end up with bad fish.I will definitely be back to try some more ingredient combinations. Thanks for the great review! We're so glad you enjoyed the experience. Based on your, and other, customer feedback when we opened we moved to (what we think is) a better container, allowing our customers to add all their favorite toppings (always included in the price!). We hope you'll come back and visit us again soon!
