I ran in to subway to grab a quick bite. The employee was being supervised so I figure she was new. The supervisor should have told her not to pile everything in the middle of the sandwich, maybe I should have asked her to spread it out. Oh well, it still tasted fine

This store opened within the last year here in town making it one of our newest additions. Known Primarily for their subs and delivery service. I went to the store for take out. While our town is rural we do have sub destinations in town. The store was clean and hip looking the staff pleasant. The food itself was more expensive than Publix and Subway, the portions smaller, and the sandwiches left a salty taste in the mouth. While hip is cute and the buzz about new is always alluring, the product did not stand up to the local standard bearer in this case Publix.

Seriously, has anyone EVER bought a sandwich at a Subway that even REMOTELY looked like the pictures plastered all over the place? I bought a so-called steak sandwich that's advertised as brimming with meat; when I got it the contents weren't even visible unless you spread the roll open. Typical Subway. Every few years I give one a try to see if they've improved their truth in advertising; they haven't yet.

Was there the other day to get a quick lunch, I called ahead so I could just walk in pay and on my way. I arrived just before noon, there were several patrons in front of me, as I watched this gentleman collect money make change , the he turns to his left to make other pizza, with plastic gloves or anything, I asked him if he knew that money was probably one of the most caring germ items that he can hold in his hand ? look at and said he was real busy and what was my name so he could retrieve my pizza . I looked at him and said really and walked out the door. went across the parking lot to Hungry Howie's , got my pizza, at least they were weaning gloves
