Sudden desire for pizza instead of cooking at home after busy day brought us to Josephs for 4th or 5th time. Ordered the 14" Josephs special pizza, a Calzone and a bowl of ham & bean soup. Most of the pizza came home for lunch tomorrow.Food is very good, wine by the glass appropriate for menu and service was fine. It is definitely worth a visit when in the mood for classic Italian pizza and specialties.

This place was dingy and dark. Needs cleaning. Needed updating and food not very good. Waitress was fine. For a restaurant in a seafood area of Florida we expected more. We both had the shrimp, fries and slaw. Shrimp was frozen packaged with little flavor and over cooked. Slaw okay as were fries. Overpriced for quality. $21.94 Total. Would not go back or recommend.

Service was extremely slow and except for two couples inside, non-existent at lunch time. This should have been our first clue. The server brought my grand daughter a bottle of SevenUP with the cap on the bottle. She finally had to go inside and ask the server to remove it. It was not a twist off cap. We asked where the pickles were on the Lucky Burger (they are listed as ingredients on the menu). She said they didn't have pickles and shrugged her shoulders and walked away. The server never checked on our table...and we were the only ones eating outside. After waiting a long time, the server brought my shake (which was going to be my lunch). It was melted and warm. Later she brought the other food. Also, we discovered the outside tables are right next to the pet area. Do I have to draw a picture? This is an embarrassment to the City of Venice.
