Stopped there yesterday because several cars were there and because the reviews were good. Buffet...skip it! Fried chicken is supposed to be their long suit.... almost burned in old grease and the inside barely done. All of the hot vegetables had to have been dumped out of a can and heated up....Pitiful! The salad bar was the best part....very small selection but was mostly fresh. We won't be back at this restaurant.

We've been going to Minneola Grill since we moved here from Hawaii, nearly a year now. In a nutshell, it's good home cooking at very reasonable prices. Last time I was there I got my favorite breakfast: Corned beef hash, eggs, grits and a biscuit. The corned beef hash IS canned, but they grill it crispy and delicious. The eggs are ALWAYS cooked in butter and are excellent. The biscuits are fresh made daily and while not the absolute best ones I've ever had they are good, especially with honey! The grits are original Southern, home made, and not loaded up with salt which you can add as you like. My partner tried the chicken salad sandwich and said it was very fresh and tasty. Last, and certainly best, is the service. Everyone is always cheerful, bright, and quick with coffee and assistance. It's not much to look at inside or out, but it's got what you need for food & service.

My wife and I went to Papaâs Diner for breakfast. We were pleasantly greeted and promptly seated. Our server did a good job. I ordered two scrambled eggs, corned beef, home fries, a biscuit. My wife had a biscuit and sausage gravy. Everything was cold. My biscuit would not even melt the soft butter that came on it. So straight from the kitchen it was cold. The home fries are bagged potato squares fried. Everything was cold except the coffee.I have been here several time and it was mediocre at best, but this is the last time.
