Florida, United States Food Guide: 3 Cafe food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in West Palm Beach

Reviews on Cafe food in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. With sunny skies, nearly perfect year-round weather and a range of outdoor and cultural attractions, West Palm Beach presents the ideal setting for a weekend escape. Enjoy a game of golf at a number of pristine local courses or hit the beach for a day of tanning and catching up on your reading. See African chimps and endangered species like the Southern White rhinoceros wander free in a natural habitat at the Lion Country Safari. You could spend an entire day on Peanut Island, a popular tourist attraction that houses a bunker built for President John F. Kennedy during the Cold War. The island includes the bunker, a museum and plenty of picnic areas, plus biking and walking paths. The ferry ride to the island cruises past the opulent mansions of the city's wealthy residents. For those who prefer indoor endeavors, the Norton Museum boasts an exceptional collection of American, Chinese and European art. Famous performers appear at "The Harriet" and at the Kravis Center. Of course there's always shopping, the city's other favorite pastime. From designer boutiques to big name department stores, West Palm has it all.

Michelle is an incredible server. Awesome service and recommendations. Atmosphere is the best in Palm Beach. Highly recommend the Pinot Grigio, pork belly bacon, burrata and the shaved ribeye sandwich. End with a cappuccino. You won’t be disappointed.

Located in a strip mall, this unassuming restaurant welcomes guests with a flash back to the 50's - pine paneling, pine booths, and country kitsch. The waitress was warm, welcoming, and informative. The food was no nonsense, substantial, stick-to-your-ribs, home-style cooking reasonably priced - great breakfast all day. Ample portions needed a  to-go box for leftovers. We ordered Georgia pecan pancakes (3 enormous pancakes with bananas and pecans in the batter and 4-strips of bacon) and Pot Bellied Stove (western scrambled eggs with ham, peppers and onions stuffed into both halves of a hollowed-out crispy baked potato skin, all slathered in melted cheese and served with choice of fruit cup, home frys, hash browns or grits). Saw sandwiches and a crispy fresh salad that looked yummy and similarly generous delivered to another table. In addition to the standard menu they offer a page of daily specials with many country staples like catfish, liver and onions... Service was friendly and fast, pay at the counter. Can't ask for more.

Want a charming repast that's miles different from your usual South Florida fare? High tail it to high tea at Serenity. Housed in a charming historic cottage in West Palm Beach, decorated in thrift shop chic, and serving up homemade treats, Serenity is not just for the Downton crowd (though there were plenty of them there enjoying themselves during my recent visit). Our party of three had high tea, which started with individual pots of tea (your choice from an exquisite, extensive list) snuggled in tea cozies. You get a little sand timer to let you know when your beverage is sufficiently brewed! Next, a cup of homemade soup (our selections were tomato basil or pear sweet potato, which I can't recommend strongly enough) Then, a tree tier tea, with hot from the oven scones, a variety of finger sandwiches, and a plate of sweet treats. Service was charming, and all in all, great value. Absolutely fabulous!
