One of my favorite cuisines is southern barbecue, so I was super excited to try this local restaurant! I had the two meat combo with turkey and hot links, with corn on the cob and bbq beans as my side. The turkey was dry, and even though it was only noon, tasted like it spent some time under a hot lamp. I was expecting a large healthy yellow corn on the cob, full of kernels and flavor, however what I got was a small underwhelming piece with little flavor. The best part was the hot links - a little dry but it had some good flavor!

Inexpensive and decent BBQ. Served on plastic platters and waxed paper. Gets quite busy but has lots of seating. Ate there twice and was not disappointed. Not a fancy crowd.

The food at Sonnyâs was good. Not sure it was worth the wait,portion size was small took 30 minuets to get to us and when we asked why so long? They told us it was the salad??? Really? Ok. Besides that the 2 wait staff dealt with neither were friendly. Not sure I would recommend this for lunch.
