This is a chain with other locations in Florida, namely Clermont for one and maybe Lady Lake.
Stopped by for lunch and was surprised at the lack of customers. We had been here a few times, last year, for lunch and dinner and the place was pretty full. Wasn't sure if the lack of customers was due to food quality or what, but we decided to stay. I'm glad we did. The food was good and so was the service.Linton, thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed everything! Believe it or not we do have slow times and slow days especially in August and September. Thank you for your review we appreciate you taking the time to write it and share with others.

Sonny's BBQ of Eustis. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
Service was slowâ not enough servers. Salad bar was good but refills of items were not maintainedâhad to ask waiter for potato salad and dishes to return to the salad bar for a second helping. Recent remodel is nice, main dishes were good although wait time was long.

We stopped here on our way back from a local festival. We did not eat at the festive and were on our way home with the intention of stopping at something we passed on the way. We spotted this restaurant and turned around, so glad we did. Each of us enjoyed our choices of smoked pulled pork platter, pork melt sandwich and a cheeseburger with sides of clam chowder( good with nice flavor even tho not true NE chowder), sweet potato fries, cole slaw, and AWESOME black beans and seasoned rice. We also had dessert...apple cobbler with ice cream. Our server was Marie, who was very patient with us as new comers to this establishment and helped us select our food. Our drinks were kept filled and she made sure that we were not lacking anything, It was a nice rustic setting and they allowed us to enjoy our girls day out at our leisure. SWe will definatley try again. They also have new hours along with a breakfast buffet and I believe a newly planned lunch menu,Thank you all for stopping in and thank you for the nice review, Dan
