My Wife, son and I eat here about once a week (wish it was more often). "ALEJANDRO" the manager of the restaurant, runs it just great. Food ALWAYS EXCELLENT ! This is a true Mexican Restaurant with gourmet food. Have been eating here for a long time, none of has ever had anything but an excellent meal. Sauces put on the dishes are unbelievable. The additional home made Red and Green Salsas put on the table for your pleasure are AUTHENTIC ! Usually the Red is more picante, on January 7 the Green was ahhhh Good and had a real kick to it. We would not think of eating any other Mexican Restaurant in South Florida.. We ate at the Capital Grille in Downtown Miami on December 29, 2017, a 5 Star Restaurant, spent $400.oo with tip for the 3 of us. Capital Grille is FABULOUS, but given the choice between Capital Grille and Los Tacos Miramar, which would we choose ? LOS TACOS !!!

This is a pretty small restaurant, and one can't make reservations, so be prepared to wait a little time for a table. Our wait on a Saturday night wasn't too long. For dinner I chose the Argentine grill: steak, short ribs, chicken, sausage, sweetbreads, intestine. Yes, it was all there. I was denied kisses later that night, but I loved the food. The malbec was delicioso. I could almost feel it coursing through my veins. Our waitress was super. She was Venezuelan, and looking forward to the U-20 world cup final. Unfortunately, our team lost. I loved this place. Yes, the ventilation from the grill is not great and you will smell like you've been barbecuing, but it is just delicious food!

I've visited twice and both times the food was great. The first time was during a Colombia game and it was packed an hour or so before the game so keep that in mind for a game day. The staff wasn't particularly helpful in seating you because there was so many guests but the food made up for it. We ordered some empanadas which were crunch, hot and fresh! My family also ordered a pollo salteado and the flavor was amazing. The second visit we ate their famous meat sampler and it tasted like it does in Colombia! I think they offer that only on weekends but I'm not too sure. The patacones were alright but the hogao was not the best I've had, they have their own take on it and it's not impressive. I would not recommend ordering coffee here after your meal if that's something you're accustomed to, it is cold and old, that's a free pointer ;) I would recommend a visit!

I echo the other reviews saying this is a hidden gem. I had pollo saltido (may be misspelled), and it was fantastic! This place is different than the ârun of the millâ Latin restaurant. I have a feeling itâs pretty authentic too!

My husband and I came here because we had a Groupon. It was a drive for us, as we are in Boca Raton (a solid 45 minute drive, and with traffic, an easy hour!). But we were NOT disappointed! It was smaller and cozier than I anticipated, but that did not bother us at all. The service was wonderful - very attentive and friendly and also very fast. Food was DELISH!!!!! Great ceviche. Best paella of my life. And a really cool menu with lots of great options. Want to go back, like, right now. Just wish it were closer!

Oh Ceviche is a great local spot for Peruvian cuisine. Their selection of dishes is very ample and the service is excellent. I visited with my family and we enjoyed their food, which was perfectly executed. We ordered "Causa rellena con pollo", fish ceviche, aji de gallina and a few other dishes, all which were excellent. Portions are good sizes and prices are decent (mid range $12-$20). The place is not very big but the ambience is good. The owner (or manager?) approached our table several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Their dessert menu isn't that great, but we did order a cuatro leches cake and a maracuya mouse, which was amazing!!!I strongly recommend this place. Awesome taste and great atmosphere!

We were visiting this area and went twice in one week it was so good. They are also great with food allergies as most dishes don't have nuts, dairy, eggs, or seeds. The food is made the old fashioned way without crazy or extra ingredients. Can't wait to visit again!

We went for a late dinner, but with the lay out of the place, it could also be a bar hangout. They offered outdoor and indoor seating. To avoid noise from surrounding traffic, we sat indoors. Although we sat near bar and under televisions mounted a wall, it was not too noisy for a conversation. Service was excellent. Food served hot and tasted freshly prepared. The spicy shrimp tacos (3) were delicious! And you can't pass on $5 Margaritas.

Havana 1957 is a Cuban restaurant that sets itself apart by creating a unique dining experience that allows you to relive the glory and glamour of old Cuba during the 1950s.
Christmas Eve dinner, a Cuban family tradition, however this year my wife and I were alone. Not sad but content that all of our family are well with own plans to do and traveling abroad.Well my wife and I decided to go and try Havana 1957 in Pembroke Gardens, Honestly, I thought we would end up at McDonald, since it was late and we did not have a reservation. The restaurant was packed but mostly large groups so to our amazement, we were promptly seated in a table for two with amazing very comfortable chairs and close but not to close to the live band.I told my wife, well now we probably have to wait to get served as everybody is very busy, Wrong again! A very nice , very friendly and with a fantastic smile young lady by the name of Jessica came over to our table, introduced her self as our waitress.Within a very short time we were having amazing Mojitos and enjoying the fantastic music from the band. This place was amazing, the family atmosphere and happy ambiance was so present it made us feel just like our traditional Christmas dinner at home. Then the best part came, even though you could order "a la cart", they had a very special menu for the occasion. It started with Tostone rellenos with vaca frita and special alioli, criole soup, an the main course lechon asado! with congri and yuca.I would love to describe each amazing well prepared and presented plate but it would be to long.I would only say this; the tostones were fantastic, well cooked and presented, the soup was a vegetable base "sopa criolla" with a taste out of this world. The roast pork, "lechon asasdo", I have to say it was one of the best if not the best I have ever had and I tell you, I've had plenty, as it is my favorite. I don't usually eat congri, "mixed rice and black beans" as I find it to dry and hard in most restaurants. However, here it was perfect, moist, flavorful and complimented with the super soft yuca con mojo. For dessert they brought us an amazing Flan of fantastic texture and taste served with cream and last our perfect dinner was only to be finished with Cuban coffee, a feast for a Cuban god.The cost was very moderate, with several Mojitos our dinner and tip, $110.00.Well with that said, the thing that impressed me more was the whole restaurant operation, and super service. Even though it was full on the special occasion, the staff operated like a fine tune machine under the watchful eyes of the manager, who was also very pleasant and came to our table several times. With an even pace from all of the staff, all clients served in time. Quality food, drinks and great service accompanied fantastic music made this Christmas Eve dinner, a very memorable occasion. Most of all, all employees were smiling very pleasant and seemed like they were also enjoying the occasion like we did. They are having a celebration for the 31st, New year and we will be there. It is family oriented, easy to get to, great value and super quality.I strongly recommend Havana 1957 Pembroke Pines. Thank you for that great evening.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us Jose. It means a lot to us that your Christmas Eve dinner with us was excellent. At Havana 1957 we take great pride in making sure that our customers not only love our dishes, but also the service and atmosphere, which in turn makes them want to return. We hope to see you again soon!

Dined on a Tuesday. Pretty busy for mid week. Started with shrimp and pineapple tostones which were very good. Mojitos are also tasty. Had the vaca frita - shredded beef with onions with mojo rice and plantains. Meat and rice were flavorful. Plantains perfectly sweet. Table also had shrimp paella, needed a bit more heat and spice. Fried whole red snapper was also good. Venue has old Cuban flare inside and out. Lots of items to choose from and try. Worth the trip.
