Just happen to stop in. The dueling piano's were so much fun. It is unfathomable how many songs these artists knew. We stayed all night singing along. Drinks were OK. Service not great and we tipped big as we are in the industry. Think the server was distracted by friends. We did not eat there.

We visited this establishment off FL 44 a couple of weeks ago and this being our 2nd time it was enjoyable and satisfying. The venue is open and spacious with an outside Tiki Bar option and inside dining surrounded by TV's in a sports bar type environment. I believe the owners also operate Breakers on the New Smyrna Beach, adjacent to Flagler Avenue and that is a hot spot too. By comparison, the food is plentiful and good, The Half Wall is more upscale and modern but both venues provide ample, great ambiance and good value for the money. This is a great place that won't disappoint and the menu choices are extensive to choose from.

Went today for lunch, lo & behold, no food today due to a malfunctioning kitchen fan...but had a brew & really enjoyed talking to the bartender (missed her name, but a joy to talk too)..Sorry for disappointing experience. Our hood fans were down for 1 day and would smoke out the whole restaurant not to mention it would be unbearable for the kitchen staff. So we had to close the kitchen for 1 day until the parts were shipped overnight. Please give us another try soon !!

Visited Half Wall NSB last night and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Hubby said his jambalaya was delicious. Nice salad, fish and chips was good. I had the four cheese grilled cheese sandwich and potato salad. Both were fantastic. Potato salad was the best I ever found next to Momâs. Will go back for dessert! Loved the onion rings too. Lots of help and great service. Live music duo out back on the patio. Try it!

While I still love the concept - cold beer, seafood prepared to order, docks on the river - the chinks in the armour are showing. While you can make some excuses, it is a "fish camp", the last several visits have not been up to par. Food can be inconsistent, between visits and in the same meal. Our last time at JB's, the ala- carte soft shell crab ordered as an appetizer was delicious and properly fried. The one on the entre' sandwich was over fried. French fries were crisp and delicious. The onion rings were over fried in what tasted like tired oil. My blackened Mahi sandwich needed more sear for a proper blackening. Still enjoy hanging out, but JB's needs to up their game on the food preparation.I am sorry to hear about your poor experience while dining with us. We are constantly working on improving our consistency with our food. Can you please send me an email at [email protected] with the date and time of your order? I would like to look into this further so we can ensure constant quality and taste with each meal. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review as it helps us understand what we need to improve. I hope you will try us again in the future so we can provide you with a better experience.

We have returned to Merkâs to get wings after riding bicycles all day. This is our favorite place to get wings and beer. We love their âFrankensteinâ and âDry Ranchâ flavors. This is a very popular place and gets crowded and noisy which is what the atmosphere should be like for a busy bar.

We vacation in NSB every September. Last year, we had a simply great meal at Riverpark Terrace so were sure to go back for my husband's birthday dinner. I looked forward to the fried green tomato appetizer that, last year, was the best order of fried green tomatoes I'd ever had. Sorry to say I was disappointed this year. The serving was plentiful but really breaded and deep fried and not at all as it was last time. Good but not great. My husband had creamy chicken and asparagus soup to start which he said was good. My husband's entre of seafood fra diablo also was good and he said the spicing was just right. The server did ask in advance just how spicy he wanted it which was a plus. My entre was the problem. The menu had a blackened shrimp and broccoli dish over bowtie pasta in cream sauce and I asked if I could get it without blackening the shrimp and was told "absolutely" - good answer. However, as the server approached our table with our entries she noted the shrimp was blackened, apologized and took my dinner back to the kitchen. She left my husband's dinner and we waited. We ended up with my husband eating his dinner alone so it wouldn't get cold while I waited for mine. When it did come the server noted that the whole thing was recooked, not just the shrimp. Unfortunately, my whole plate was so heavily doused in salt (and I'm a salt lover) that I could not eat it. Did the chef just substitute tons of salt for the blackening spices? I didn't send it back because, by this time, my husband had nearly finished his dinner. I picked at about 1/4 of it and we decided to get our check and leave and to get my husband's birthday dessert elsewhere. Then it took forever to find the waitress. I think they had moved her to the garden where others were eating. I finally went to the entry and asked her for a check. When she saw I hadn't eaten my meal, she got the manager who seemed confused about what the problem was and thought I got the wrong meal. Long story short -- and most insulting -- was that the manager took off $5 from my $25 entre that was inedible. It would have been less insulting to just apologize or better yet to take the entre off the check.Bottom line: This will be our last dinner at Riverpark Terrace. Such a shame for our birthday "celebration".I apologize for the dissatisfaction with your entree. The shrimp dish is one most favored by our guests and we have addressed your particular situation with the management and kitchen to determine where the miscommunication occurred. We have also credited to your account the full amount of that shrimp entree which is $19.00. Please feel free to call me at 386-478-6398 at your convenience.
