At Candela we recreate the way Spaniards approach dinning, a lay back setting where wine and unpretentious bold dishes fill the table. We encourage our guests to share and sample our menu and be the creator of your own Tasting Menu.
Good Paella de Mar that was generous with the shrimp, clams and mussels. The shrimp (Gambas al Ajillo) was good too. The lamb dish (Jarrete de Cordero) was okay, but the Bravas and Chorizo al Vino were just not my taste. The sangria was great though! Service was just okay- our waiter disappeared for quite some time.

We actually stayed at the Westin Hotel & it was part of the hotel. The night was erie, as the whole of Ft. Lauderdale seemed to be absent in anticipation of hurricane Dorian. We were hungry, wanted some good food & didn't want to go far, so we decided to head downstairs to Lona. We went through the hotel lobby & entered a stunning Tequiaria. As we rounded the corner, this gorgeous waitress was standing there ringing in an order & shaking her booty to the incredible DJ.After being sat outside, the same waitress turned out to be ours. Her name was Gernie & she was bubbly, energetic & just happy to serve us! Her suggestions were spot on & we had a fantastic meal! I always love staying at the Westin, but knowing there is such a romantic spot with great staff such as Gernie, we'll be sure to head back to Ft. Lauderdale soon & visit this must go to restaurant!

First time solo dining here. Ordered the tamale and chicken breast. Wow, a lot of food. The tamale is giant loaded with pork, masa & onions. A meal in itself. The grilled chicken breast with sautéed onions was good, but the tamale was great. Add the plantains, rice & black beans were all good. Too much food, so the to go made it 3 meals. Service was pleasant as he went out of his way to allow me to try another dish. Everything was good, oh did I mention the tamale was great. Prices on par. Would definitely return.

We went to Inkanto on a Thursday evening for a celebration. The place is spotless. Seated instantly. We had the ceviche sampler to start. Amazing ! Along with a nice bottle of wine. We each ordered something different to try more things. Everything was beautiful on the plate and so delicious on your tongue! Best local restaurant! Even the dessert was perfect! We will be back to this incredible spot real soon!

Cuban Restaurant in Central Fort Lauderdale, FL serving delicious and home style Cuban cooking that captures the essence of Florida's Caribbean lifestyle. The restaurant operates out of proprietor, Valdes' house. Weather for a quick sandwich stop, or for
first visit to a place I have wanted to go for quite awhile. we ordered 2 cubano sandwiches, plus rice/beans. very big sandwich, quite good. surprised that there was quite a bit of seating, all outside (I believe). on street, bar stools at counter. very colorful place, music could have been a bit more Latin for my taste, and very nice waitress. not a comfy upscale place, but outstanding food.

AUTHENTIC Mexican and El Salvadoran FOOD LOTS OF SPANISH ENTREES AND BREAKFAST ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY STARTS AT 9:00 Am
This is one of those places that you would drive by and not even give a second glance to. We happened to discover it at the Taste of Oakland Park and decided to come and check it out.The restaurant is a stand-alone building that is non descript. The interior is small, but the staff is very warm and friendly. This restaurant specializes in Mexican and Salvadoran foods. We started our meal with Horchata, which is a blend of rice milk and cinnamon and our first time ever having it. It was YUMMY and comes in a huge glass. Each table is served chips, which were warm and crispy, and a homemade salsa. The salsa was very good. Not too spicy, but has a slight kick. For starters we tried the Sweet Corn Tamales (it was like eating a dessert!) and a bean Pupusa, which is a traditional Salvadoran corn tortilla stuffed with items of your choice. It comes with this wonderful sauce and cabbage mix to be placed on top. It wasn't greasy at all and I would definitely recommend to try it. For the main entries we had the Grilled Chicken Breast that is topped with grilled peppers and onions. The chicken is wonderfully seasoned and I like the fact that it is grilled. It is accompanied with black beans (AMAZING FLAVOR) and a rice that has some mixed vegetables in it. Delicious! The other dish we tried was the Salvadoran Steak in Red Sauce, which is sauteed with onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Highly Recommended! The sauce almost tastes like an Italian tomato sauce and goes well with everything. I even liked it on my chicken. The steak was perfectly cooked as well. This, too, is accompanied with black beans and rice plus fried plantains. Definitely a Winning Dish!Portions are large and we, unfortunately, had no room for dessert. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND coming to check it out. Don't be fooled by looks on the outside, as inside, is definitely a treat for your taste buds!PS - If this review was useful, please click the HELPFUL button on your phone or you can click the THANK YOU button on your computer. On my most recent visit I had their ceviche and sample my dining companion had the pork sandwich; both which proved to be truly delicious. The ceviche came served in a wide soup like bowl, somewhat different that the way I've had it served in Peru or other area establishments. The roasted corn kernels were also placed on the edge of the bowl instead of served separately, which was also somewhat different. The taste of the ceviche was really great, every ingredient super fresh and totally tasty. My dining companions pork also proved most, totally tasty and the pork, unlike on my prior visit some five years ago, was completely trimmed of fat. On my table there were three unlabeled squeeze bottles of condiments visibly unidentifiable. As I could not get the attention of my waiter to tell me what they were, I really have no idea, but I did taste all three, guessing that one was a unique black olive mayo based. However all three were really delightful in flavor. Why a restaurant can't label condiment ingredients that are on your table or why a waiter wouldn't voluntarily tell you what they are completely miffs me. You can tell that Bravo has a good number of loyal repeat customers. When you overhear the majority of customers and wait staff speaking with each other on a first name basis, it's a rather obvious fact and a good sign when a restaurants has such a high number of repeats.
