Find out what Latin restaurants to try in Pinellas Park. Pinellas Park is a city located in central Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 49,079 at the 2010 census. Originally home to northern transplants and vacationers, the hundred year old city has grown into the fourth largest city in Pinellas County, the most densely-populated county in Florida. The city and surrounding areas are almost completely urbanized. Pinellas Park contains a substantial portion of the "Gateway" area of the county, targeted for future infrastructure, residential, and commercial development as it sits roughly in the middle of the Tampa Bay area's over two million people. Though technically land-locked, its borders lie only a few miles from Tampa Bay to the east, and Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. The city is known for its popular equestrian facilities and events, and many residents also participate in fishing and water activities in nearby venues. On Park Boulevard, the city's oldest street and primary thoroughfare, one can find anything from produce stalls and flea markets to high-end luxury vehicles.

We had a short stay on the West Coast of Florida. We had previously visited this restuarant and loved it so much we had to visit it again. They did not let us down. We both got Cubans and they were as good as ever. When in the area we will visit again

This place is worth any drive it takes to get there. We met someone who comes all the way from the other side of Tampa Bay because she loves it so much. The service was excellent. It was our first time and the waitress took the time to explain all the dishes in detail to us and tell us what a lot of people purchased before. We got the plaintain dishes. One sweet (Alma Llanera) and one savory (Patacon). Both were excellent and worth trying for around $8 each. We also got the empanada sampler which is only $5 for 5 small empanadas. They were fantastic and the three sauces were a great complement to them. They also sell homemade bakery items. We will definitely be back when we are in town. This is great find tucked away in the Winn Dixie plaza.

... and I was floored by the quality of the food and size of the menu in this hole-in-the-wall place in Pinellas Park. You can always tell when a restaurant is as busy as this place was even on Easter Sunday that they've had quite a following. Walk In Crowd and the place was jammed but the service was friendly in the food came out fast. So many different choices

Friendly owner who went over the whole cafeteria style spread. I had ropa vieja, rice and red beans. My boss had rotisserie chicken, yuca, and plantains. With drinks it was 17 bucks. Homemade hot sauce was delicious and good sized portions. Not as good as a couple of nice spots in Tampa, but very good for a Pinellas spot.

Terra Mar Steakhouse is owned and operated by the Ferreira family. Geraldo and his wife Marlete are originally from Brazil and have been in the restaurant business since 1999. Terra Mar is an authentic Brazilian âChurascariaâ, or steakhouse. We have a fre
Parking in front, pretty nice and convenient but then again, here in Florida it is pretty much standard, only New Yorkers like me can be impressed and appreciate this convenience. No cheese bread, they dont serve various of the best Brazilian appetizers during lunch time, and that to me was silly cause if you wanna be impressive you should be able to serve something as simple as cheese breads which are one of the most impressive appetizers from the culture. The decor is good and very light, dark painting on the walls but the windows here are large so there is plenty of day light coming in. The server was pretty nice and friendly she came to us and explained how the placed worked and was very helpful. It is like any regular steak house you sit there and people come to you with cuts of different proteins and you eat all you like but their steak and meats selection is not very extensive. The food overall is a buffet and you have the meats come out and go around, rodizio style as I said above. I must say that everything tasked at best mediocre. I did not like the food here at all and the only reason I give 3 stars is because the service was pretty good. The flavor of the food was really bad, I did not like any of the items in the buffet, all were pretty old and blend tasting, and the meats had an after taste, almost like they havent cleaned the grill in a while, all meats had the same after taste. We decided to wait for the cheese bread and we ended up waiting 2 hours for it cause they made us wait for the dinner time to make these things that take 10 minutes in the oven. The CAIPIRINHA here was no different, also too strong and clearly made out of cheap cachaca. The waitress was friendly and she tried her best to make us happy, but it was not enough as we did not like the food at all and that was ultimately why we were here. Sadly they have no competition in the area as they are the only Brazilian place around, so they will cut corners to keep their bottom line and serve mediocre food just like the food we experienced. If you are a regular here, please be advised that Brazilian food is a lot better than what you have been experiencing there.
