Inspired food, carefully selected wines, attentive service and beautiful decor combine to create a memorable dining experience at Timo.
There is no a lot of restaurants around, where you can find good healthy and not oily and fried food. But Timo was great! Bronzino was light and delicious. Kids like there creamy risotto. And my husband choose skirt steak with tasty fried potato. Also we took black and white pizza, It was great, but too oily for me, but my husband like it. It's very nice restaurant, where you can spend a great evening with your family. I think the best in Sunny Isles!

We ate one of our vacation dinners at this boardwalk restaurant. The service was good at first, but as the place filled, it got hard to get the servers attention. The carbonara was good, spaghetti w meatballs good, seafood appetizer excellent, bread was just dry toasted white (maybe) french bread that was crunchy and nothing to do with it other than make your own oil and dry spice at the table, or dip it in sauce. It was a beautiful place to eat and people watch, although I would recommend getting there by late afternoon to avoid the loud crowded bar traffic starting in early evening. All was quite acceptable until we got the check. I have long had a bit of an issue with mandatory gratuities for a table of 4 adults and a baby, but 15% was OK, even though I didn't see it listed on the menu. I would have tipped more left to my own recourse. I would probably have even added some in addition, until I got the credit card strip that added a tip line without any mention of the already charged tip. I wonder how many people don't look at the tiny itemized strip that lists the 15% gratuity as if just another food item? I would suspect many add 20% to the total and end up paying 35% in gratuities. Management can make all the excuses they want about an 'automated' system where servers generate the bill on a tiny strip at the table, and how they would never intentionally mislead customers, but the way this is structured is obviously intended to scam the unwary tourist population that fuels the customer base.

We like to patronize locally-owned restaurants, so sought out this little gem and have been twice in the last month. We like to sit at the bar for a cocktail and dinner. The bartender is very personable and service is spot-on. The burrata with proscuitto, eggplant rollatini, pasta with meatballs, pasta fagioli...all delicious, and generous portions. Nice pours on wine, too. The owner is also a very nice woman who we enjoy having a quick chat with.

Tropical Acres Steakhouse, owned and operated by the same family since 1949, is a hallmark of Old Florida beauty and service. Over the course of 70 years, one philosophy has led us through the decades: providing customers with incredible value. For what y
After spending almost 7 days in Ft. Lauderdale eating all kinds of seafood, we decided to come here based on a recommendation. Needless to say we were not disappointed. We arrived right at 4:30 and Tom the bartender could not have been nicer and welcoming. Great to know that he was from my neck of the woods too! Ordered the surf and turf and it was perfect...I know I said I didn't wanted seafood but couldn't help it when I saw there were 2 lobster tails with the filet, LOL. The bar got quite busy but Tom had everything under control without forgetting to check on us at the same time. If we didn't have plans the next day, we would have came back and unfortunately we were leaving to go home the day after, therefore we will certainly be back the next time we visit.Thank you for joining us for dinner during your visit. We're happy you enjoyed your service experience with Tom so much -- we'll pass along your kind regards. Looking forward to the next time you're back in Fort Lauderdale!Best Regards, Michael, Manager

Prices are very high! Decor is beautiful. But the excellent service makes up for it. On arrival, they greet you with complementary hors d'oeuvres: bruschetta, fried zucchini, and Parmesan - all delicious, but filling. The Ricotta Meatball was tasty but the Caesar somewhat ordinary. The Scalopine Parmesan was good but very heavy, while the Pollo Scarpetti was tender and tasty. The Panacotta and Tiramisu were caloric delights.

Friendly Family Atmosphere.... Feels like dining at home without having to do the dishes.....
Thanks to Trip Advisor my family decided to leave the beach on our family vacation to check out Mundiâs and we were not disappointed. Donât let being in a small plaza bother you either. The food was fantastic, the service was awesome, the owners were very hospitable. The place is small, so call to get a table reserved. Strongly recommend a visit for great old style Italian food at Mundiâs. We will stop back for sure any time we are in the South Florida.

Casa Mia Trattoria opened its doors in September 2005. We merged traditional Italian food with favorite American flavors and Casa Mia Trattoria was born. Our restaurant is a place where people can feel at home from the moment they enter the door, and wher
Met some friends here after this place was recommended to them. Aside from the very tight parking lot, we knew it would be good as soon as we walked in. It was packed with couples and families. The food was really delicious and the service was excellent. You do need a reservation as the place can be very crowded and it isn't quiet but not boisterous either. It was a total surprise to find a reasonably priced, excellent Italian restaurant that we had not previously discovered. We certainly will be back!!

Always a must go when in Aventura, the wait for the table was short even though the place is always packed. The service always excellent, plenty of choices from pizzas, to pastas, salads, wings, and italian specialties. We tried the salads, pizzas, soups and lasagna, everything was excellent. They also have great options for kids. By the way portions are really big, depending of your appetite is recommended to share
