Reviews on Cafe food in Sarasota, Florida, United States. What kind of beachgoer are you? Chances are, you’ll find something in the Sarasota area that appeals to you. Soft sand, fishing piers, shells—you can find it around here. Just don’t go looking for a nude beach—that’s the one thing they don’t have.

Great breakfast and lunch. Definitely a favorite for us when we are on holiday in LBK. Weâve been here four times with consistently great food and service!

This place is hidden on the second floor of the building. We are a family of crepe lovers so we try every time we see a new spot. We went with very low expectations - we had been in Paris a few weeks back and we knew it would be hard to find a crepe like the ones we had there... however, what an amazing surprise!!! The crepes were so delicious and made very similar to the Parisan ones!!! They were rich, flavorful, and big! Sadly we visited La Creperie on our last day in Sarasota. Hopefully, we'll find time to go there before the year is over. Thanks, guys!!!

Word of Mouth diners are know to come for Word of Mouth's breakfast alone, which features several varieties of pancakes, blintzes, crepes and the awe-inspiring Three Amigos Breakfast Burrito. The lunch menu serves a variety of yummy soups, sandwiches and
Dumb title, but believe me, a great breakfast place. This is a very popular place to have breakfast and lunch. When we went for breakfast, we had to wait about six or seven minutes to be seated. That's not a complaint; it just drives home how good the food and service is. Even though it might be crowded, we found the service to be excellent, the breakfast choices plentiful, and the food excellent. If we had been staying in the area longer, we would certainly have returned, and next time we're in the area, they can count on our coming back.

Have previously reviewed the Sunnyside Cafe, last time we were in a Sarasota, first time patrons for a delicious breakfast. Happy to report that lunch did not disappoint. I had the chicken and basil panini while my wife had the roasted vegetables. Both were excellent! Fresh, well seasoned and perfectly prepared. The service, like the last time was excellent. I think it is the Old World Hungarian attention to detail!?!Would recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch for good food, reasonably priced, well prepared and served with a warm regard.Donât miss it, next time you are in Sarasota!

Breakfast and lunch cafe.
First visit to Sarasota and we wanted a change from hotel breakfast. We walked over to the Mango and were so glad we did, although we passed much construction - commonplace in Sarasota these days, we were told. We had our pups so we sat out in the side yard. Would give 5 stars except for the construction going on immediately across the street, although the workers were personable. Not Mango's fault and the service was excellent; the food outstanding. Highly recommend.

Delicious breakfast and lunch spot near St Armand's Circle. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The only negative is that the place could use a little sprucing up in the paint and decor department. The prices are a little high - but the place is so popular that they get it. Be prepared to wait quite awhile during season.

It is a fairly new resteraunt that serves breakfast and lunch, and is very good, as well as the service...with an outdoor patio and insde.seating and is open everyday from 8am to 3pm.....
We were in Sarasota and tried this on the behest of TripAdvisor reviews. We cannot recommend this place any more highly. The young man who was our waiter was quick and courteous. He brought the owner over to answer questions he did not know. Both my Roasted Eggplant and my wife'e Mediterranean wrap were both delicious and generous. They accommodated my wife's requests without hesitation and charge. You can eat inside or out, breakfast or lunch. We will try breakfast there next time we are in town. A bit of a challenge to find but totally worth it.We don't give many 5's - this is one of them.

Voted Sarasota's Best Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch, First Watch specializes in delicious creations freshly-prepared to order. First Watch begins each morning at the crack of dawn, slicing fresh fruits and vegetables, baking muffins and making French toast ba
My wife and I aren't breakfast people. But while vacationing in Sarasota, Florida, we have discovered that many locals and tourists love their eggs and bacon and coffee in the morning. So we aren't surprised to see so many outstanding breakfast-oriented restaurants in town, even with several locations. The most active is First Watch, with seven locations in the Sarasota area. It advertises itself as a cafe chain for health-minded people with breakfast, brunch and lunch options, such as omelets, salads and soups. We favor the First Watch location at 8383 South Tamiami Trail. Our usual order is orange juice, black coffee, steel cut oatmeal with house-marinated berries, fresh slice banana, pecans, low-fat milk and fresh backed muffin, Belgian waffle with a side of berry compote, syrup, powdered cinnamon sugar and pork sausage links and The Traditional, two scrambled eggs, pork sausage links, whole grain artisan toast and strawberry jam and seasoned potatoes. It's a great way to start any day of the week.

La Mucca Ballerina is a great place open for lunch and dinner in downtown Sarasota just east of Orange avenue. The owner's are directly from Rome, Italy where they also own Agriturismo La Mucca Ballerina and serve only the finest, authentic, Italian cuisi
A busy place over Saturday lunch time during Sarasota Film Festival in April. Not enough staff meant slow food and beverage service and barely heated food. The only thing warm was the indoor temperature. Might be worth a try during a slower time according to earlier reviews.

My sisters surprise bridal shower at Shoogie Boogies couldnât have gone any better . We were lucky enough to book our gathering in the newly renovated room that turned out to be simply magical. The space provided a beautiful backdrop for all of our pictures and was the perfect atmosphere for a bridal shower! Everyone couldnât get over how amazing, unique and beautiful this place was. We were greeted with a delicious champagne and elderberry drink as we mingled and then to a feast of party sandwiches, a delicious salad and an array of desserts! The staff was so friendly and attentive as we moved through the courses throughout the shower and they made sure everything was set up beautifully! Working with Katheryn was so easy as she made sure we didnât have to stress about anything. She made sure the menu was fit for everyone and handled all of the decorating. We just had to show up! We are so glad we chose Shoogie Boogies and canât wait to plan another event there!
