Fantastic place for breakfast and lunch right in downtown Bradenton! Easy parking in attached parking garage. Yes, they actually make sage biscuits and they are scrumptious! The menu has everything you want and more - good service & yummy eats!

The omelette with side and no drink was $13 and wasnât worth $8. Omelette came out barely warm. Would have been better to go across the street to Bob Evans.

Ok this is seriously my new favorite coffee shop!! Great coffee, eclectic decor and really good food. The quiche rocks!!! As if that isn't enough the staff donates all of their tips to local missions. All proceeds from sales are also given away! Seriously who does this?! I love everything about 1000 hills and can not say enough good things about it!

We went twice while on vacation in Anna Maria, first time was take out, Cuban Grande and Cuban Pastries. Bread was just ok, but we all shared, pastries were good. Second visit, wife had Chicken Fricasse with Black Bean, Rice & Cuban Toast, daughter ordered Churrasco Steak and my son had a Pork Chop and I ate the Chicken Soup. Soup was a bit salty, but hearty and Chicken Fricasse was good. Steak and Pork Chop were Very Good per the twins. Service was excellent and nice little place. Wife and I did enjoy the steamed Yuca. We would have like to try more options.

My daughter and I finally tried this place a few weeks ago. I was a little shoked at the average age of the other customers...thinnking about 80! We felt very out of place. Food was good, but nothing overly special. It looked like a place a lot of older people hang out at. Staff was also older, but nothing to complain about. Croissants were good@

The remodel concisits of hard surfaces and light bulbs that burn your eyes. Please put a cover on them. These hang over every table and hurt your eyes if you look at them. We enjoyed the Christmas music but right after it, the head-banging, garage band music came back. Such a disconnect to the over 50 group that dominates the demographic. Good service and food but no croissants, danish, cinnamon roles or microwave. You are out of luck if you want anything "warmed up."

My wife and I went in on an impulse. The entrance is small but the interior is true "diner' all the way. We ended coming back a few days later with friends. Breakfast both times and everything we ate was delicious. Nothing "fru fru." Just really solid well prepared large portioned breakfast food. And not to forget: the service is quite excellent. Soon as you are seated someone appears at your table. I think it was the owner who kept filling our coffee cups and who insisted we take a "traveller" with us.

My family loves this place. Even though everything we have ever had is good, we usually stay with the same dish... âSage Biscuit Platterâ. OMG, so yummy! You get eggs, meat, toast (or a sage biscuit!), the absolute best breakfast potatoes, AND french toast!!!!! You will not leave hungry!!! And I love that you can get mimosas here!!!!! They have several tables outside, but itâs usually too hot! Inside there are only about less than 20 tables, but the wait is worth it!!!!!

Breakfast/Brunch /Lunch restaurant with Daily Specials. A Great selection of food. Home Made Soups and Chili. Fresh home made Biscuits and Muffins. All Salads and coleslaw home made. All gravies home made as well. Nice Cafe Dinning atmosphere.
So glad this place was recommended to us because we would never have stopped in this mall to eat by just looking at the outside. When you go inside it is a typical narrow diner with tables along the wall and a seating bar on the other side. But if you walk the length of the restaurant there is a door in the back that opens to a lovely patio under a shady oak on a quiet and peaceful river. Who knew??? To top off the lovely setting under the shade of the oak with cooling breezes, my friend and I enjoyed delicious sandwiches and they were very reasonably priced. We also had a very pleasant server who said "have a good day Hon" I haven't had that nice southern friendliness in a long time. BTW I had a bagel with lox that was terrific.Thank you for your review. Weâre so glad you found us. Come see us again sometime. Glad you had a great experience.
