A few weeks ago my sister, mom and I went to Lime Rock Road for lunch to celebrate my sister's birthday. We sat outside and the atmosphere was very nice. I had their Southwest Chicken Wrap. It was very tasty, a little messy, but it was good!!! My sister, living in Gainesville has been there several times. The service was good and all of our entrees were very tasty! I would highly recommend you trying it. The prices were fair.

Fresh Seafood, Hand Cut Steaks, grassfed Burgers, Saturday And Sunday Brunch Featuring A Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar!!
Went as a family and we all got different dishes. Stuffed fried shrimp, St. Augustine fried shrimp, gator tail, blackened grouper sandwich. The food was below average in our opinion. The grouper smelled extra fishy and didnât taste very good. The St. Augustine shrimp was fine, but nothing special. The fries were pretty good. The appetizer bread was decent as well. The gator tail was just average. The best thing was the coleslaw. The clam chowder was not good either and had several meats that we couldnât identify. The tea was another positive. The place didnât have a good smell either. The reviews were pretty good for the place so we gave it a shot. But that was a mistake. I really wanted to like the place but left disappointed.

Excellent food cooked right with flavor. This may sound nuts, but the best cole slaw I have ever tasted from New York to LA, Miami to Anchorage. Good people who give great service. This spot has a relaxed bar, some pool tables, and NASCAR or football. Very welcoming to new folks and travelers. TRY the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes - your grandma wishes she can cook that good.

Had a nice family dinner here. Food was good, portion sizes generous, and the service was good, especially since there were seven of us.

After a very busy day, I decided to take my kids to dinner at Loosey's (instead of trying to drag something together myself). What a great idea that turned out to be! We were greeted cordially and seated right away in a nice spacious booth. The waitress came promptly and was super nice! We started with a cup of lobster bisque which was creamy with lumps if lobster, a perfect starter. I enjoyed a perfect cheese burger with carmelized onions and fries, which I dipped in their jalapeno aoli. My sons had a chicken club sandwich and a cheeseburger, and both gave dinner a big thumbs up. Next time I'm too tired to cook, this is where I'll come, a gem close to home!

Welcome to the award winning Great Outdoors Restaurant! We hope you enjoy your dining experience here. Our menu is carefully planned and lovingly prepared. Our Executive Chef is on the premises at all times carefully overseeing every detail of food prepar
Nothing fancy here, but my Captains Platter of fried shrimp, scallops, and white fish was excellent. (Conch fritters were soggy and I left those on my plate). Even the French fries, slaw, and onion rings were notable. We also tried the Ginnie, a BBQ bacon cheeseburger. A well executed if underseasoned effort. Decor seems intentionally dated with plenty of space inside and out. Although there isnât much to select from in the area, this is worth the #1 TA rating. Expect $15-25 a plate for entrees and $10-16 for a sandwich.

My family and I were traveling into Florida and wanted a seafood restaurant to eat at that we don't have back home. My wife stumbled across Wahoo on the net and my father-in-law was intrigu d with the signs. Our waiter was FANTASTIC. Ronnie made sure we always had drinks, made great suggestions on how to order each different fish from grilled to blackened, fried or seared. My swordfish was hands down the best meal I ate during the trip. My wife originally ordered the salmon burger, but after Ronnie explained the difference between that and salmon sandwich changed her mind. She was very glad she did, it was excellent. Even the regular fish sandwich my son ordered was out of this world. I've never written a review before and felt so strongly about our experience that I couldn't let it go unknown.

Iâve been eating at the Gators Den for years - every time Iâm in Gainesville in business. Itâs connected to the Best Western so its very convenient to have so close after a long day of business meetings. Very tasty food (and Iâve tried pretty much everything on their menu). My favourites are the âsmothered chickenâ and their chilli. The wings are good as well. For desert try the raspberry cheesecake - itâs good! The service is actually fantastic! The wait staff are all young - probably college kids - and they are very motivated to ensuring that each customer is happy... it works! I always tip large because the kids that work there try so hard - thatâs important.Itâs always a pleasure eating at the âDenâ and I recommend it whenever you happen to be in the Gainesville Florida area.Thank you for your review and comments. Thank you for choosing us and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Gators Den Sports Grill

Lucked into this place when we stopped to get gas at the station next door. At first we were confused by the dual entrances, but once we got inside the restaurant part, things went swimmingly. Our waitress Beverly explained our menu options and got things out to us quickly, despite the fact the place was packed. I had the Beef & Bird, which was roast beef and turkey. It turned out to be a pretty good combo - except I'd change the bread. The cole slaw was great - not sloppy. wet or sweetened. Wife had the onion soup which was good, but the chips were a bit stale. This is the kind of place we'd go again, to try the different locations and some different menu options.

Located in the west area of greater Gainesville, World of Beer offers over 500 beers from more than 40 different countries. Combining a friendly environment and a knowledgeable staff, World of Beer creates an atmosphere where patrons feel at home.
The applewood smoked bacon benedictine is my fav menu item. I have had it twice. The hollendaise sauce is great and I love the homemade biscuit instead of English muffin. I even get a biscuit as my side-which is only available on the beerunch (beer brunch) menu. If you ask they will bring jam for the biscuit. And if you like an orange slice in your beer, you will love their beermosa. I like it and I don't usually even like beer (Hubby does!)
