Watching planes take off into the vast blue skies. Laughter among friends being lifted and carries along with the wind. A south pacific décor with a splash of aviation history. Situated on the runway, outdoor dining with a playground for the children.
At the Flagler Beach airport, High Jackers is just right. Great aviation atmosphere, a playground for kids, indoor and outdoor seating. EXCELLENT food, all prepared to order, so expect a wait after placing your order. The ahi tuna sandwich was very large and delicious. Definitely going back.

Down old highway A1A in Palm Coast, you will find a cozy place known as 'The Hammock' of the Palm Coast. There, nestled beneath large oak trees on a barrier island is a little out of the way place we call 'The Shack'.. Or JT's Seafood Shack! Friendly, att
I met my sister, who was visiting from out of town, for lunch at JT's. I ordered the chicken salad and have them put it on tomato with a side of green beans. The chicken salad was very good and the green beans were excellent. My sister had one of the fish with some kind of sauce on it with some cabbage slaw. The waitress was nice but the service was a little bit on the slow side. Neat little place out on A1A Henry Palm Coast. They have an outdoor bar and outdoor seating area in the back also. I would return and try some other items.Hanah, I'm glad to hear that you had a wonderful lunch with your sister! Catching up over some tasty seafood dishes is always the way to go. Happy to hear that you enjoyed the chicken salad and green beans. Thanks for taking the moment to share your experience -- looking forward to having you back. All the best, John Doering, Owner

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Always a good, basic breakfast. I ask for crispy bacon and it arrives that way. I like my eggs over hard and that's the way they arrive. The coffee is good. The servers are always nice and accommodating. I love poking around the gift shop. There are always so many cool things to take home. The fireplace was on which gives the large room some nice atmosphere.

Antoinette served us professionally with patience and finesse. A group of 5 woman celebrating our friend's birthday we all enjoyed our meals from chicken breast w/ goat cheese and sundried tomatoes to the lollipop lamb chops as well as the rib eye. We were all pleased and the best was the dessert of oreo cookie chocolate moose pie which was absolutely the best ever! Go and enjoy and tell Frankie the owner I was the one that ate at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant and thought this meal was better!

Excellent food with one small exception: The Broccoli Cheddar "Soup." Very, very thick to the point where it has the consistency of a chip dip rather than a soup. Our server even brought my wife some milk to thin it out but to no avail. Then she brought a hard roll and my wife dipped it with that. Although the flavor was excellent, it was not really edible as a soup. Thick beyond description. Having said that, my classic eggs Benedict was excellent as always and my wife''s chicken sald was also excellent. Word to the wise for management: fix the Broccoli Cheddar.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Daytona Beach via A1A. Captains BBQ is situated in a park area under the live oak trees which adds an extra special touch. We ordered the St. Louis Style Rib lunch and pulled pork sandwich. Pulled pork was very good and a nice helping too. The ribs were interesting in that they had a sweet glaze on them which was different. They were very meaty and excellent. Grab a table outside on the patio area facing the waterway and just enjoy the food and view.

A Quaint Little Bistro right across From the Ocean with a GREAT elevated VIEWS, with both indoor and Outdoor seating, We are a Northern Italian Seafood House serving " COMFORT FOOD...WITH A GOURMET TWIST" from Veal to Sea scallops From Crab Cakes Benedict
We have been here twice and enjoyed both visits. The building is old Florida with a warm and welcoming interior and staff. So far we have had the crab cakes with really good aioli sauce, New England clam chowder, shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad and house salad and all of them were really delicious. The raw clams were not a hit on the first visit and were the only disappointment in the seafood stew on the second. The grouper scampi and lasagna were great, the eggplant was good.Great service, fair prices, nice wine choices. We will be back!
