This place had high expectations but it missed the mark. The food was average at best, the quiche my wife had was to dry and my soup was tasteless and sandwich needing more substance. Itâs a great location with parking nearby. Next visit will be to one of the other places and shops close by. Also they do not have WiFi.

Seven of us from The Villages went to SIP in Leesburg on Thursday night for dinner. It is one of Leesburg's top restaurants and one of their best kept secrets. Highly recommend this restaurant for great food, friendly staff, pleasant surroundings and unique atmosphere with entertainment by Paula Baker. Although this restaurant has been open for four years we were pleasantly surprised to find a "new" and charming place to eat. All agreed that we will be returning soon and bringing more Villager friends with us.

There is a grill where your selection of meats and other items will be cooked for you. There is adequate sushi. Chinese selections, Japanese selections, American foods, salads and desserts. At lunch all one cares to eat for less than $10 a person. This is a destination when one is hungry and seeks variety.

Small restaurant chain serving classic breakfast and lunch all day! Train themed decor, outstanding service, and a friendly atmosphere.
Had a hankering for some pancakes and knew they had the best. They have something new and figured I would try them. They are cinnamon pancakes! I like mine with an egg on top, they are very pretty when served. Like a giant cinnamon roll but in pancake form. Just be ready for really sweet, they have lots of cinnamon, sugar and brown sugar in a swirl all around the pancake. I put syrup on it but probably didn't need it. Could only eat one because it was really sweet. Be prepared.Definitely bring your sweet tooth for our Cinnamon Swirls! We are so glad you enjoyed them Elaine. Thank you for your positive feedback.

A friend highly recommended the Friday night Fish Fry at Wolfy's in Leesburg, FL. so we went last night. The family friendly restaurant has an appealing menu: Breakfast all day long. Some good looking entries, but without asking what kind of fish we were ordering, we ordered the all-you-can-eat-fish. We were pretty surprised to receive two plates of what was essentially fish sticks; white fish pressed into the shape of a couple of big fish. It didn't go over very well with either of us.

We go there a few times a month.. the food and service are great and consistent. Ramshakles changes their menu often which I like. They have grilled chicken wings that are to die for.. you have to ask for them, they aren't on the menu.. yummy

An American restaurant, that is a step back in time. Fresh sandwiches, salads, homemade pies and cakes. The soups are made on site and are gluten free. Come and dine in historic Leesburg and enjoy the atmosphere and shops.
We had lunch at Bloom's the other day, and it was not a bad experience. Their menu includes an extensive list of sandwiches and other items. We arrived about an hour after the Saturday breakfast buffet had ended.I had a BLT sandwich on Rye toast (I was given an option of more than one kind of bread) and it was very well done. The bacon was crisp and plentiful. My side order was french fries which were good (not exceptional, but good). My companion had an egg salad sandwich, which they said was fine.We checked out the bakery counter before we left the restaurant and purchased a couple of brownies and a blondie. The blondie was a pleasant surprise - full of flavor and left a very pleasant aftertaste. The brownies were a disappointment. They amounted to little more than a slab of chocolate cake, and not very good chocolate cake at that. The service was indifferent. When we entered the restaurant only two tables had customers, and there were two servers. Our waitress brought us menus promptly and took our drink orders. When the drinks were delivered, she took our food orders. The food took a while, but was worth waiting for. Some time later, she brought the check and asked if we needed anything else. Then she disappeared, never to be seen again. I would have liked a refill of my iced tea, but wasn't desperate enough for it to flag down the other waitress. When we left the building, we discovered that our waitress was outside, dealing with a sign on the sidewalk. I thought it odd that management did not require the other waitress to keep an eye on us while or waitress was performing other duties.Their indifferent service cost them - we had wanted to order a couple of the interesting salads to go.

King Clip and short ribs, spinach, with rye berries and foam. PERFECTLY medium rare grilled fillet with sweet potato mash and zucchini. Overwhelming urge to roll-over and have a cigarette.

My organization was looking for a central meeting place that could accommodate 20+ people. La Palma was gracious enough to give us their back room. It was perfect. Our waitress, Juana, was superb. How she kept all our orders straight, keep our drinks flowing, and brought out our meals piping hot amazed me. We didn't have to wait for our meals, but we never felt rushed either. A good balancing act.I had the fish tacos. They were quite good. I particularly liked the salsa - it was obviously made from fresh ingredients. The manager, Julie, even came back to see how we were doing. In my experience, that personal touch is quite rare. When I was leaving I saw other patrons drinking a margarita sampler(3) that looked yummy. This was my first visit, but I plan to go back to give it a try.

My family and I eat here as often as we can! The variety of meats all have a great smoky flavor. For most you choose the sauce you want. The baby-back ribs already have the most amazing rib sauce on them and the meat literally falls off the bone! The burgers are great, as well as are all of their home-style sides. The servers are fast and friendly, our favorite is Michele. She really makes us feel welcome, and our orders are always correct!
