Comfortable and familiar. This is local fare with a long history of serving folks good food with a smile. Fair prices and great portions of favorites not often seen. Rutabagas, greens, english peas, fried green tomatoes, and rice and gravy to name a few of the sides to grace the plate with fried pork chops or meatloaf. Fried chicken is good too. Breakfast all day and some big pancakes. We have already been back and have been embarrassed to say we have not been regulars in the past!

We ate dinner here on a weekday and were seated immediately. I chose the Bourbon Chicken with baked potato and broccoli. I would give this restaurant a better rating however, the chicken wasn't grilled as I accustomed to. Don't know if it was boiled, baked, or how they fixed it but it was tasteless. If it weren't for the bourbon sauce I would have sent it back but that gave it enough flavor to make to tolerable. The salad bar was good so it wasn't a total loss but I wouldn't eat here again.

Hubby and I have dined at dozens of Cracker Barrel restaurants in the eastern half of the US, for two reasons. 1) They serve breakfast all day, every day, and 2) the food is almost always very good. With all the traveling we do, it's really difficult to find "mom & pop" style breakfasts near interstate highways. But we can always count on Cracker Barrel for Eggs In The Basket at 4:00 pm. We've noticed that service has slipped somewhat during the past year, but it's still all-around pretty darn good.Occasionally we do break our breakfast tradition and order meatloaf or chicken tenderloins ... something from the lunch/dinner menu. Only one time in all our visits have I had a less than satisfactory meal. In Lake City the food was excellent, the service fast enough, and the orders accurate. Prices are reasonable, typically less than $10 for an entree. We also like to explore the country stores in each restaurant. They all carry different clothing lines based on professional sports teams based in the area or college sports in a particular locale. And the candy selection ... we try not to even look ! The Lake City store already had Christmas trees and ornaments on display, all very tempting. We'll continue to enjoy Cracker Barrel while road-tripping.

The food is as expected from Chick-fil-a. This location is not as clean or as service oriented. The play area was really dirty. Of course three teenagers were hanging out in there when we arrived which made it more unappealing to my young twins. When our order was delivered the girl said all the right things. âCan I get you anything?â I was inside the bench with two kids on the outside. I asked if I may have a spoon for the soup I ordered. I had forgotten to get one when I picked up the napkins and straws for the kids. She pointed over to the condiment area across the seating area and said. Itâs over there. Then walked away. Not helpful. One of my sons got it for me. Anyway, not up to the level one would expect from chick fil a. If plan to go, stick to drive through but check your order before you leave. If you didnât remember to ask for something, they wonât help you out.

Atmosphere was great. The prices were reasonable and the drink glasses are huge! Everything the wife and I ordered was excellent and would definitely come back if ever in the area again. 2 thumbs up.

Sonny's BBQ of Lake City. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
The best part of this dining experience was the server, I think her name was Brittany. She took really good care of us and checked on us frequently to make sure we were okay. The food was average for a bbq place, food came out of the kitchen fast. The bill was $45 for 4 people who had sandwiches and a salad. Wish we had tried the â family feastâ which feeds four and includes the drinks, will try it next time.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
As always Roadhouse did not fail to deliver. The only flaw was my assistants main course was luke warm-cold. This made the gravy very unappealing. They quickly resolved the situation and made it right. And again as always, the coldest beer on tap on the 4lane.

We found this gem by accident while we were out riding today. If you're not familiar with Lake City this place could be a challenge to find, don't let that discourage you.My wife ordered the Miami sandwich and I had the Lechon Asado. My wife raved about how good her sandwich was after the first bite, and second and third. I think you get the picture. The Lechon Asado was just as delicious. The portions were huge, we could have easily split either meal and been satisfied, as it was we brought leftovers home which will make a great lunch. The atmosphere is very relaxing, service was great. We'll definitely be back.

A Very Unique Locally owned, Independent Gastro-Pub Located in Historic Downtown... Great local music Wednesday through Saturday. "Chairman's Reserve" Beef and Incredibly Fresh Wild Caught Seafood. In House Smoked Meats and Some of the BEST BBQ in Town.
In LC to visit family, husband and I went for lunch on a Saturday. Sat outside, which was already getting crowded a little before noon. Love that they were welcoming of dogs. Did walk inside, very nice atmosphere. Server arrived timely, friendly and efficient the whole time. Drinks arrived, cold beer and a good sour apple/caramel martini. I had looked at the menu on-line and planned to have the fish tacos, well they only serve those on week days, it's dinner menu on the weekends. Opted for the Key Bowl it was wonderful and I would go back to have it again. Seasoning and flavor just right, usually I want to add extra for moisture in rice bowls, not this one, cheers to the Chef. Husband had meat loaf, we both thought it was a bit dry but it was flavorful. Fried pickles very good. This place is an asset for LC, worth going past all the chain restaurants to get to.
