My honey and I have a membership here that was given to us when we purchased our apartment at Icon Brickell. This place is so great! private, serene beach, clean pool, full bar and restaurant, and the service is amazing. You walk in and are literally jumped and asked where you want to be set up. Chairs, umbrellas, and towels quickly follow. Management is amazing. Carmen does an excellent job with her staff. We have spent 4th of July there and the buffet together with the fireworks display is phenomenal. We take the whole family and many of our friends. Love, love, love this place!

Less famous and less popular than its twin eatery in Bill Baggs park, Boaters, the Lighthouse cafe delivers on an agreeable setting, decent service, an interesting menu, a pretty good kitchen and a range of cold drinks (no draft beer). Oh, and it's where the park wardens, armed and armoured (Glocks or the equivalent and Kevlar) in case of rampant iguanas I presume, hang out. And, it's near the beach. The view is not as spectacular as No Name Harbor but you can glimpse the sea through the dunes even at deck level. The tendency towards fried food is similar to Boaters but the touch seems to be lighter and, of course, you can always work around the menu for something a little healthier though the temptation to go with tostones and black bean soup was too much in my case.

On the mood for seafood at Miami area and started looking for a seafood place around in TripAdvisor. We were very close to Key Biscayne so we decided for Atlantica, had nice reviews. This place was hidden and we went in circles for a couple times. Finally we entered a lonely area with big empty stands, and at the end of the road, we found this place. Small restaurant with a outdoor seating area. Service was great, the girls were very friendly. Food was very good and tasty. Started with coconut shrimps and deep calamari. Then the tastiest pasta in the world...pasta Atlantica, with all kind of seafood in it, plus a huge lobster in the center. Crab sauce all over....OMG...delicious. Also on the table an entire fish, very tasty. Loved this place. Hope it could be closer to home.

We walked around to Whiskey Joes after our meal at The Rusty Pelican. The bar has loads of character and whilst it wasn't so busy at the time we were there I can imagine that the atmosphere is electric when the bar is full. Great place with good location and views.

Dune Burgers On The Beach

St. Tropez-inspired gourmet burgers and champagne.

A convenient burger/grill place just off of the beach, part of the Ritz Carlton. Food and service was very good. The burgers were excellent and tasty and sides could be substituted. My wife’s snapper was perfect (it came from the main kitchen at the Ritz). Gino, the server, was fantastic. The setting was secluded. It is pricey — it is the Ritz — 18 pct tip is included in the bill Highly recommended!

I'd been at the Rusty many years ago when it was mainly a wooden building. The place was refurbished about 10 years ago and now its modern, with an impressive wine cellar and a spectacular view in most of the tables you will sit at. The experience ends there. The ceviche looked and tasted bland and our salads were doused in dressing to an exagerated degree. It gets a three stars for the view, but only two for the food. A place that grew old and rusted and has been unable to keep up with the culinary times.
