Reviews on American food in Fort Myers, Florida, United States. The City of Palms is located in Southwestern Florida on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. Most visitors go to Fort Myers for the deep-sea fishing, the golf courses and the famous white sand beaches and islands that line the Gulf Coast. A renovation of the city's downtown waterfront promises new restaurants, clubs, shops and galleries. Attractions include the winter estates of Henry Ford and Thomas Edison, as well as nearby Naples and the islands of Sanibel and Captiva.

The university grill is a upscale local bar and grill. From great burgers and beer,to high choice aged meats and fresh seafood. Our customers are very loyal as are our winter locals. When someone has been here for the first time there comment is why did i
We have passed this place many times in our way to other eateries but tonight we checked it out. They had an 18 dollar special going on with about 15 entrees that were legit. I ordered off the menu and got chicken parm. It was the real deal. Comes w choice of soup or salad. I got the crab bisque which was outstanding. The other three diners all the the pistachio trout. All loved it. Our server was Cindy and she was terrific. All in all very good place and we will return. Thank you so much for finally stopping in. The $18 menu is for our 22nd anniversary and will continue until October 22nd. We are so glad that you enjoyed your meal, along with your three guests. The majority of our entrees come with bread and oil, a choice of soup or salad, and one side. You can always request Cindy as your server when you return. See you soon!

Neighborhood eatery that specializes in scratch kitchen pub style food, craft beers and wine.
Wonderful change from the ordinary, just check out the menu. I had the Grilled Watermelon salad and it was fantastic. My husband had the VandeWalker Philly with coleslaw as the side and loved it. The staff is attentive and very nice. We will return, there are so many menu items we still need to try.

Breakfast food was great, but the coffee was awful, very, very week. Itâs a family restaurant and makes you feel very welcome, but really wanted a good cup of coffee. So hopefully this will let them know and the next time we are in there, it will be a lot better.Place is very clean and very busy. A good spot.

My wife and I come here 23 times each month. It has the most diverse seafood menu at a consistently high quality and at the most reasonable price, served by a courteous and caring wait staff. I can't imagine a better clam chowder. Atmosphere is clean and pleasant but small and noisy. Waiting is outside but there are also a few eating tables outside. First come first served....don't hesitate.

We had 11 invited to celebrate our anniversary. We asked for a table near the waterfall and couldnât be happier with the location. We felt like we had our own private space. Everyone ordered some type of beef dinner and all agreed the food was delicious. Service was excellent. My husband and I have been to Connorâs a number of times and we are always pleased. I highly recommend this restaurant.Thank you. It was our pleasure to serve your group's anniversary celebration, and thanks for dining at Connors Steak & Seafood.

Lunch & Dinner, last seating at 8:00, Casual decor, Some outside seating, Beer & Wine
Just arrived in town from Michigan and looked for something authentic and reasonable. KLG more than delivered! Mahi in macadamia nut crust was excellent, as were the twice baked potatoes and grilled mixed vegetables. The London ?House Porter was an excellent accompaniment. The ribeye was cooked to order with similar sides. The house salad was quite interesting and flavorful. Rolls were hot out of the oven. Recommended. Not super expensive.

The Best Food, The Best Service, & The Best Entertainment South West Florida Has to Offer!
Once again I find that the best restaurants in the Fort Myers area are not the ones with a great scenic view, they are hidden away in strip malls out of plain sight. Roadhouse is one of those hidden gems. The ambience is a bit unexpected. Walking in you go back in time. You look over at the bar on the left or the stage on the right where people are dinning on the piano and you are transformed back to a time when you'd expect the Rat Pack to be dinning there. After taking it all in and having a bourbon, your food arrives. This is possibly the best steak in town. I've eaten here a few times and it never ever disappoints.

Small, upscale Farm to Table restaurant. Serving eclectic cuisine with everything made in-house from scratch. Wine and beer list are well appointed of decent size with a fairly large selection for our size. Menu changes weekly.
What a wonderful experience. Small, intimate place so I would recommend reservations. The service was fast without being pushy and every attention to detail was covered. Our server was very knowledgeable on the food and wine and every recommendation was on point. Steak, fish, short ribs all superb and I will definitely be back and bring friends. So glad I was told about this restaurant!Thank you so much for the kind words and so glad you enjoyed our spot! Hope to see you again.

Authentic New England Seafood! "Bringing the flavors of the New England shores to Florida's Gulf Coast." Fried Ipswich Belly Clams, Chowder and Clamcakes, Lobstah Rolls. Casual restaurant with counter service, indoor and outdoor seating. Near beaches. Ful
2 of us had the Lobster and Corn Chowder and I can easily say itâs in my top three favorite soups ever. Iâd go in weekly just for that. Another had Mikeâs Chowder and he loved his too. We also had cod fish and chips, clam cakes and coleslaw. Our entire meal was perfect, start to finish. Our server, Sam, took her time with us and patiently answered our many questions before we ordered.

Firts time eating here and was happy with our meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad. Plenty big and filling. The dressing was a bit bitter and overwhelming. It was their Lime style dressing. One of my daughters had the Chicken Caesar Salad wrap and the other the Toasted Cheese. The wrap was good but the Toasted Cheese was something else. Not much cheese and what was there was hard to find.. Not what she expected and and would not order that again! My wife had the hard and cheese melt which she liked. Good meal but a number of the items needed some help. Not sure if we would return.
