The attraction is the deliciously unique assortment of specialty drinks and the award winning food selection as well as the finest coffees. There is also a private meeting room available for special occasions and other functions. Throw in free wifi for in
Friendly and fairly lively. They have a bakery counter with some amazing treats. I definitely would have taken one if the individual espresso cheesecakes if we werenât embarking on a 6 hour drive in August. Our waitress was pleasant. My sausage, egg and cheese biscuit slider was good but not amazing. My daughter said the same about her breakfast burrito. But the coffees were excellent and enormous and the bill was reasonable. All in all a good choice.

The restaurant in an old home, built in 1910. It has recently been restored to accentuate it's original beauty and craftsmanship. It is warm and homey, just like home. The beautiful stained glass windows are the homes original windows. The grounds are lan
This is a very comfortable restaurant in a nice little town. It is known for its home style cooking and great desserts. Some people complain that even though it is a buffet, you can only select one entree. However, the serving size of that entree is more than sufficient to fill you up! It just means you have to make a choice instead of taking some of everything and leaving a lot on your plate. My favorite thing there is their pot pie, but I went with a group of 10, and everyone thought what they ordered was delicious, so Iâd say you canât go wrong with whatever you choose. And, yes, their desserts do look amazing, but youâll have to get it to go as youâll be too stuffed to eat it there

Went here on a recommendation from friends and we really enjoyed it. My husband and I shared the Grilled Seafood Platter for $24.99 (it came with a large crab cake, your choice of fish (we picked Mahi Mahi, shrimp and scallops and had it blackened. There was plenty to share and we selected a side of coleslaw and sweet potato fries. The coleslaw was lacking flavor but I mixed it in with a side salad I had ordered and it was fine when mixed together. We didn't get a chance to try the homemade desserts but they looked really good. Next time we'll take a piece of cake to go, as my friend later told me they are amazing.

Sonny's BBQ of Deland. Southern BBQ at its finest. Slow-smoking favorites like pulled pork, ribs, brisket since 1968.
Stopped in while traveling. Ordered the All-You-Can-Eat Sliced Pork. Man, was it delicious. Smokey, tender, juicy slices of bbqâd pork with baked beans and fries. Such a good lunch!! The service was also fantastic. Very quick and friendly. If youâre in Deland, stop in and have a great bite!!

The restaurant was not crowded. Our party of 4 waited over an hour for our orders to be served. We were told it was all cooked to order, but this was beyond any reasonable waiting time. The food was plentiful and good.

The burnt ends were delicious and well priced. We ate outside and it was a nice setting. The service was very good. Good menu, too, with southern favorites like fried okra.

On this, our first visit to Karlings Inn, my husband and I were impressed with the quality of the food. He got the Beef Stroganoff. I've never seen this served with a puff pastry before (I've always had it over noodles), but hubby said it was delicious. His salad looked yummy, with strawberries and mango for color. My asparagus soup was creamy and tasty, but more homogeneous than I expected (asparagus blended in, with no pieces of the vegetable remaining). My fried shrimp were large, butterflied, and breaded deliciously. Meals included a lovely bread basket with banana bread and dinner rolls (both very nice), as well as choice of soup or salad, choice of sweet and sour cabbage or vegetable, and a potato pancake. The waitress was attentive and helpful, suggesting a beer for my hubs and a wine for me. Yes, I've read the remarks about taking a while for the food to arrive. We enjoyed our meal and appreciated that it was cooked to order, and were in no hurry to be finished! There is a piano in the small dining room, and we were treated to live music from a youngster who lives nearby, contributing to a pleasant family atmosphere. This is truly a hidden gem and we'll be back someday - probably for the prime rib special!

Would highly recommend visiting this place. I loved the concept and a very social experience as well. We had to wait 2 hours for a table but this seems to be the norm. As soon as you arrive put your name on the waiting list then enjoy relaxing at the springs or museum. A great day out. Very reasonably priced. You pay for the jug of batter and have this unlimited to make as many pancakes as you wish. Great fun for all ages.
