Located within a walking distance to Labuan Bajo Harbour, Komodo Lodge offers cosy accommodation with free WiFi access in all areas of the homestay. The property is also within walking distance to many restaurants in the surrounding area. It takes about a 3-minute walk from the property to the main road where it is littered with restaurants, and about a -minute walk to Labuan Bajo Harbour. Getting to the Komodo Airport will take about 10 minutes by car. The rooms at Komodo Lodge are all air-conditioned and fitted with a wardrobe and a private bathroom featuring shower facility with free toiletries. There is also a terrace with a view of the lush garden. Other facilities offered at this lodge include a private check-in/out service, room service, free on-site parking, and a tour desk to help with your travel arrangements. Airport shuttle, car rental, and activities like snorkeling, diving, and hiking can also be arranged by the property at additional charges. There is no restaurant within Komodo Lodge's ground. However guests can order food to the hotel staff and will have it delivered to the room.
Nice and clean lodge with simple amenities. Good home cooked food + airport transfers easily available. It's right near the harbour so good for early morning trips to Komodo and other island trips. It's also walking distance from several restaurants, coffee shops and ATMs.

The Kelimutu Crater Lakes Eco Lodge was designed and built by the now internationally acclaimed eco designer Meryl Wilson. This is the fifth lodge of the company and follows our strict eco guidelines follwing our six pillars for local employment, growing our own food, use of renewables, sewage recycling, protect of the local environment and training program for key stakeholders. The lodge is a great stepping stone to see the mystical crater lakes, hike in the mountains, for birding, artists (see our Art Tour)and the start of our Trans Flores safari to see the Komodo Dragons based at our Bajo Lodge.
Stayed for one night, prior to early morning trip to Kelemutu Crater. The Lodge is located in beautiful setting. I had views from my room over the rivers and surrounding rice fields. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Many thanks to Patris, who picked me up and returned me to Ende, and took me up to the crater for sunrise - such a lovely, kind and caring man. As others have noted, the food is simple, but I enjoyed it, and the restaurant staff were lovely (as were all the staff). Everything in my room worked fine. While it’s a bit out of town, it’s definitely worth it for the great location. Just one tip - the rooms aren’t well sound proofed, and most guests are up early for a sunrise trip to the crater, so maybe ask not to be immediately next door to another occupied room if lodge occupancy allows it. I’d definitely stay again.

Let's start with the good. Yes, this is likely the top hotel in Ruteng, and the garden is indeed very attractive, the centerpiece being the fishpond. Breakfasts are also very good indeed, and the restaurant serves outstanding meals a la carte (I particularly recommend the garlic chicken). Our twin room, however, was nothing like the photos the hotel uses in its promotional materials - sure, maybe one of its rooms is as depicted, but ours was very standard, small, part of a block of rooms backing onto a major road that remained busy until 10 pm or so. Next, ventilation and fresh air is via small windows that swing open outwards, yet there are no mosquito screens, which means having to keep them closed; as there's no a/c or even a fan, the room becomes fairly stuffy and warm. Even that would not be enough to trigger as much negativity as I feel about this place.- the main problem is that the block is 2-level, and our room was on the lower; the room above ours was occupied by elephants, apparently, tramping on the wooden floor until late at night and again early in the morning. If the cost of the room would have been half of what I paid, my rating would be much higher. But as it is, this place is not worth its cost. Do dine in the restaurant, though!

Le Pirate Island in Bajo was one of the highlights of our 2 month motorbike tour across Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa and Flores. It was the perfect romantic getaway to relax and enjoy a quiet time. (Note - this is during corona times). The bungalows on legs are nicely designed and a little different. We woke up looking out over the sea. Jo of the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The food was great and varied - although ask for your tuna rare. The house reef is still fairly healthy and we saw turtles and plenty of fish snorkeling. Sadly there were locals spearfishing on it at night, which is an unfortunate side effect of Corona. There were also turtles nesting and the staff are doing their best to make sure they all get to the sea.

2 km minutes stroll from downtown of Labuan Bajo, World Bed & Breakfast offers a clean and comfortable room with a restaurant on site and outdoor swimming pool each room is fully air-conditioned, private bathroom, shower, a wardrobe, and free wifi in public area also inside each room. At Warung Mama, guests can enjoy a selection of Indonesian and international delights. This property also located in a tranquil area, far from noisy and crowded of Labuan Bajo and it offers free airport and to downtown shuttle service.
About a 60 minute walk from the main street (with all the cafes/bars/tour operators) - feels very isolated. Shuttle service driver kept spitting out of the car window all the time. Had to wait 30 minutes at the airport on arrival for the free pick-up (no communication from them to tell me they would be late). The room isn't very nice, and the bathroom was flooded due to a broken bidet. Very noisy from around 5:30am onward due to room location next to road. Breakfast was pretty poor.

We booked 4 nights and left after the first 2 hours. The aircon barely worked and the room was very hot and still about 30degrees. It is on the beach though which is a bonus, but the villas are old and need a lot of work. We won't be back!

I wanted a dive master to stay with me the whole time as I’m not a confident diver. Simon was beside me all the way and was super helpful and calm. Phil the main dive master was also fabulous and I’m happy to recommend them highly to anyone who comes diving in Komodo!

Antonery lodge is located on trans ende maumere km 53 Moni Kelimutu. It's a family homestay with a comfy and quite surrounding. The visitor will be warmly welcomed by a house staff there. Housekeeping is ready 24/7. Every room is facilitated with hot water, mosquito net, toiletries(towel, soap,n toilet paper) and laundry
Stay away from this place! We used booking.com to stay here one night, paid in cash at check-out as normal, but they changed our booking to "cancelled" and charged our card. Also, the place is filthy and loud.

Absolutely wonderful experience staying with Ricardo and Linda! Rooms are in their house and we stayed in a room with a private toilet - it was comfortable, spacious, and immaculately clean. Ricardo brought us about on a day tour and he was friendly, informative, and spoke great English. We even dropped by his family's place and they were such hospitable and amazing people to be with (not to mention the delicious local durian!!) Thanks to the both of you for your hospitality!
