We feature. We offer a full-service bar with a variety of regional and international wines as well as a selection of exciting martinis and specialty drinks, like Bill's Flaming Spanish Coffee, to compliment your meal. From the sophistication of our house favorite, Crab Encrusted Halibut, to the cozy warm satisfaction of our burger and fries, you're sure to find a dish to fit your desires at The Waterfront Depot. We use only the best local, organic beef and free-range chicken in our entrees. Our skilled culinary staff prepares all our menu items daily, guaranteeing you the freshest, most flavorful experience on the Central Oregon Coast. Atmosphere. Nestled on the river's shore, we offer a warm, cozy view of the Siuslaw River and the Siuslaw River bridge. Summer dining cafe-style outdoors on our weathered patio seats you right at the water's edge. Year-round dining inside offers you a beautiful river view with an urban touch, a perfect place for winter storm watching. Our history. The Waterfront Depot is housed in the old Mapleton Train Station. Saved from demolition over 40 years ago, this historic building found its new home on the shore of the Siuslaw river a stone's throw from the Siuslaw River Bridge. The old train station's warm, classic qualities offer a perfect counter balance to the sophisticated, urban atmosphere I've created in The Waterfront Depot.
If you enjoy seeing the great Siuslaw river and the most beautiful Siuslaw river bridge, there are a few tables right at the window (reservations start at 3:00pm). Menu is daring, flavors are international, atmosphere is at the least exciting! No reservation? eat dinner at the bar; the bartenders there are really nice and the conversation fun.

A wonderful funky coffee shop right on the water. Coffee roasted right on the premises. We also feature fresh pastries, fabulous Mocha Milkshakes and of course the best espresso around! Seating by a cozy fireplace or on the deck overlooking the river. Our shop is filled with unique gifts and seasonal decorations! You will be glad you stopped!
Place doesn't look like much but space has been used to create comfy setting for customers to hang out. Coffees were better than S'bux.

This place is great and very affordable. Biscuts and gravy and two Bavarian creams cost around $5. The food was amazing and the service is great.

Your typical ice cream parlor. A nice variety of flavors and cones. My favorite is the bing cherry single scoop waffle cone. $5. A double scoop junior cone is nice too. The place has a few tables outside. Expect a line on weekends during the summer.

Eclectic cuisine featuring healthy freshly prepared house made choices. Steaks, seafood, salads, pasta, pizza, vegan . Fun specialty drinks & huge wine selection. Micro brews.
During tourist season, it may be hard to snag a table at this place, despite being housed in an enormous restored Old Town building. The reason is simple: great food, especially seafood, prepared expertly and presented elegantly. A battalion of servers keeps things moving despite the crowds, and even though the noise levels can get a little oppressive, the food is definitely worth it. Not to be missed.

Today was our second visit to a Dutch Bros. The staff makes all the difference - they all seem to truly enjoy their job.
I'll never figure out how to order at Starbucks... and they don't offer much help if you don't know what you are doing... but at Dutch Bros today, I told the girl what I previously had and wanted again. She helped me decide I wanted a breve and didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing that.
Thank goodness Dutch Bros are growing in AZ.

The new menu at Maple Street Grills offers a variety of American & Romanian traditional recipes. A cozy place located in Historic Old Town where you will enjoy the ambiance, hospitality and the food. We offer home-made Old World recipes like the Romanian Meatballs, Crab Cakes ala Europe, Dolmas (Stuffed Grape Leaves), Pork Schnitzel, Mici (Grilled Romanian Skinless Sausages) and many others.
Discriminating visitors this is your place in Florence. Dishes that will knock your socks off with flavor. Strong mid-European influence. A real dining experience that you would think was in a posh New York café. Cozy and romantic atmosphere. Full bar including microbrews on tap....MoreThank you.

Open for Lunch 11:30 to 2:00 Tuesday though Friday for Lunch
Open for Dinner at 5pm Tuesday though Saturday
We are closed Sunday and Monday
We had dinner there and both ordered seafood. The fish-salmon and halibut-was tasty although slightly overcooked. Portions were generous and dinner included a nice salad and bread. Wine list was ok. Ambiance was just ok-as was the service. Altogether a pleasant surprise for a small town.

Christian & Natasha from Maui, Hawaii have the true Aloha spirit! Their menu has a wide selection of Hawaiian favorites such as loco moco, teriyaki chicken and spam musubi to their different styles of poké to their sushi. All food is excellent! No matter what you choose! Their fish selections cooked up panko flake style-ahi, mahi mahi, opah-is so fresh and tasty! Their pokè with avocado and taro chips was "winnahz"! I highly recommend you stopping by after you are enjoyed a long day at the Dunes or just dinner after a day at work. Either way, it's worth it!
Much Mahalo for your island spirit!

Nestled above the Siuslaw River, the Bay View Bistro is located inside the Best Western Pier Point Inn but this is NOT your average hotel restaurant. Come for the spectacular view, but stay for the delicious food and superior service. The Bay View Bistro has a cozy, beautiful bar and dining room overlooking Old Town Florence, the historic Siuslaw Bridge and Siuslaw River. We have a wonderful happy hour, early bird specials and chalkboard specials changing daily. Reservations Recommended.
We were there with my elderly aunt who lives in Florence. The view was awesome. We had a very nice breakfast. The coffee was a little strong but good. They had homemade marion berry jam.
