If you visit Lelystad and if you like Asian food, please try this family restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly (led by the owners him and her self), the food (Buffet, grill and wok) is quality and divers. For children there are special dishes (french fries, sausages etc). The only trouble you may expect is the choice. There is just so much. Fish, clamps, meat, rice, noodles, name it and its there. The dessert buffet is a must. fresh fruits, ice cream, whipped cream and many dips (like chocolate, strawberry, nuts etc) The ambiance is typical European/Chinees. But from a restaurant perspective, this one offers a lot more than the average shopping center (Chinese restaurant). Child friendly, smoking area inside and clean toiletsJust try it. The restaurant is in front of the only Hotel in Lelystad and close to the Agora theater.

People still come here for the a-la-carte Chinese meals, which are still some of the best in town.A large part of the place has been turned into a world buffet style restaurant. You can get burgers, tepanyaki, chines, fries, stir fry and sushi in this place. Due to the large variety, this causes some things to be blow par. My advise, stay with the Chinese, grill tepanyaki or stir fry. There is a special corner for the kids to play, it's large with a lot of toys but not well placed. There is no way for parents to overview their kids from their seats.

In Lelystad we have a hidden gem, and it is this restaurant. I'm a local and quite familiar with the restaurants in the neighbourhood, but this one is definitely my favorite. The service is always exceptionally friendly; the owners will always take the time to explain the contents of their menu and advise on a dish. Although the service is quick, professional and friendly, the most important thing of course, is the food! This is a Chinese vegetarian restaurant, quite unique in it's concept. They use fresh, delicious ingredients and it is by no means limited to vegetarians. In fact, I am a meat eater myself and this is still my favorite restaurant. My favourites are:-The wonton soup/ Suan La soup/ Seaweed soup (doesn't sound that good right? Try it!) - The noodles are the absolute best! (Bami) - Witte sojaplakjes, babi pangang, peking eend... If you don't know what to choose, just try a 3-course Chef's surprise menu! They also take into account any diet needs that you have. In conclusion: If you ever visit this little town, definitely visit Yuan!

We went biking from Almere Stad to Lelystad and passed this restaurant. Without any reservation we were able to have our table even it was already quite busy time. For two hours you can eat all you can. From typcal Dutch food to all asian cuisine. They have wide varieties of food. For those who love suchi will also love to try here since they serve fresh and plenty kinds of suschi. I have tried other Eat all you can restaurants here in Almere and so far this is the best. First, you pick your own meat to be cooked, second they served fresh and good quality of food and third the ambiance is really good. It get a bit crowded sometimes but still you will enjoy the food. The service were also really good and if you are going here in a big group, better have an advance reservation cos as i've mentioned earlier, it can be busy sometimes. We will surely come back.
