Top 5 Italian food in Almere, Flevoland Province, The Netherlands
We came here to this Chinese-Surinamese restaurant in the centre of Almere (round the corner from the Rabobank) for my little boy's birthday.Having gone here a couple of times before for take aways, we decided to try their sit-down restaurant. The layout and decor of the restaurant is really good. It felt spacious but cozy at the same time. We arrived quite early in the evening, due to our young children, and there was only 1 other table occupied at the time, although this was a Monday evening. The choice of music being played was a little strange; as if it had been imported from Rosita's Mexican Cantina next door - Latin Jazz and Salsa music, (although there were a few Surinamese tunes played as well)! The service was excellent, very attentive and helpful. Our waiter for the day was a little nervous, so I am guessing it was one of his first days working there. But he did a great job anyway. The most important aspect of any restaurant, obviously, is the food, and here I would thoroughly recommend it. The portions were very large ( we were with 2 adults and 4 children - 2 big eaters and 2 not so big eaters); we ordered 3 dishes between us, and were still unable to finish everything, after stuffing ourselves full! The food arrived promptly and looked very appetising. The heating trays on the tables meant that the food stayed hot throughout the meal.As standard when we eat out at Surinamese places we had our favourites, nasi, bami and tjauw min moksi meti (fried rice, fried noodles and chow mein, all with mixed meats). Maybe one of these days we will be more adventurous with our choices, but why change a winning team, right?!?!The menu is quite extensive, with many Chinese dishes, but also typical Surinamese dishes like roti (chicken curry with flatbread) and bruine bonen (beans with rice). The only downside to the meal was the cost of the drinks. Two euros for a smallish glass of Fernandes or gemberbier (ginger beer) is quite expensive, and with 6 thirsty people we spent nearly as much on drinks as we did on food. Also, as we had quite a bit of food left at the end we decided to take the leftovers home. To be charged extra for the takeaway dish was a little strange (even if it was only 40 cents), and not something I had experienced before.Anyway, to sum up: an excellent night out and a restaurant I would go back to for sure. Good food, good decor and decently priced (apart from the drinks!). We paid a total of 73 euros for 6 people, not bad at all!I would highly recommend New Lung Ma in Almere for anyone who likes Chinese Surinamese food.

This restaurant also has very good takeaway food and with different special offers each month it has become very popular, especially during the holiday periods. Christmas time it is extremely busy as many people like me do not always want to cook in the festive season every single year.

Both with ppl picking up, as delivery guy.Restaurant tastefully decorated and recently done, or it looks very new anyway.Friendly staff.

I've visited Tang Dynastie quite often when i lived nearby, both for eat-in and take away. Friendly service, good food, it never really disappoints! The all you can eat sushi is a great alternative to the regular menu and is a great night out.

Everytime I've been here, it's always to get take out with my aunt and uncle who frequent this place very often. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the food they serve is delicious. Prices are reasonable, and you can ether eat in or take out. The night we visited to get our take out, it seemed most people were choosing take out, and it was very busy but we recevied our food in a reasonable, efficient amount of time.
